It was a good place to stay. It was easy to find and the instruction from the office was clear and easy. It was a good location to explore the city and close enough to find good restaurants.

We arrived early, but the property manager came to meet us and let us in. The apartment was very spacious and clean, with a nice little kitchen and living room. It was on a small street just a hundred meters or so from a big intersection that seems to be the center of town. The cathedral and a museum were in short walking distance, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

excellent staff, delicious dinner and breakfast, beautiful pool, nice amenities
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.
The property is a converted large residence. The grounds and the building are in a phenomenal state, are extraordinarily well cared for. The floor and wall tilework, the bathroom fittings, and the windows are of extraordinary quality.
There is a small pool in the back for use by guests. No food on the property, but many restaurants nearby. The property is set back two blocks form the main road cutting through the town.
Bed is large and comfortable, of a quality to be expected in a 3.5 star hotel.
Very attentive staff.
Maria and Luis are incredibly kind hosts who have a great attention to detail. From our arrival to departure, they helped us learn about the town plus provided the BEST breakfast we had during our entire 14 day trip to Spain. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Our best night of sleep during our Camino! The location is tranquil and beautiful right next to the church and bridge.
Staying at this hostel was an amazing experience! We have been out and about walking the Camino, staying at different hostels and I truly have to say that the stay at "Albergue Melide" was the most comfortable one so far. The location is on point, the hosts are amazing and very considerate and on top of that they have a very clean and comfortable set of beds.
We would recommend a stay at this hostel! Buen Camino!
We did the Camino de Santiago and my family and I are in agreement that this was by far the best experience we had in terms of a hotel, hostel etc. The beds were incredibly comfy. The room is extremely clean. The staff incredibly friendly and kind. They even leave flowers in your room, fruit and water bottles. We were very satisfied.
Decent hotel near the beginning of central Melide…just a bit off of the Camino. Good WiFi, good air-con that cools the room as requested (some hotels don’t!). Self-service washer and dryer in the lobby (fee), really nice breakfast (fee). Restaurant has high quality food at reasonable prices.
This Pension is very modern and comfortable. My room had a little balcony that gave me a nice peek at the wine zone action in Melide, with dozens of bars to eat tapas and drink awesome wine within footsteps of the pension. The hotel was also very close to the Camino way.
A superb pension on the Camino just before Melide in a quaint hamlet. The hosts are absolutely fantastic, the welcome and information was first class. Rooms are impeccable and breakfast was a feast. The best accommodation I encountered on the whole trip!
This was a clean, comfortable, friendly albergue. The shared room was spacious, bright room with a shared bathroom. The owner and staff were friendly. It is located on a quiet street, so there was no noise at night, a plus in Spain.
Expect mediocrity in Melide, and you will sometimes be rewarded with better than average. This pension is good for the night, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and good shower. A block away from downtown.
beautiful casa. was able to leave my pack w staff and walk to Melide for sightseeing. spent afternoon in the garden. food and drink available till 8pm.
