San Isidro is a sleepy town in the South of the island not far from the airport. This is where the locals hang out and is therefore cheaper to shop there than in the popular resorts.
It's a good location if you have a hire car, as the nearest big resort (Los Cristianos) is just a 20-minute drive by car along the TF1 motorway. The town has a local bus station which gives access to most parts of the island as well, but we had a hire car which was very convenient for getting around. Parking in San Isidio was no problem on the side streets. There is a local seaside town not far from San Isidro called El Medano. It's a nice place for a meal and a walk around the small town and beach. All in all we were very happy with our stay in San Isidro.

The town is very close to the airport and La Tejita & El Medano Beaches. There is not much to do in San Isidro, but it is a great location for long stays in southern Tenerife because it is close to Adeje Coast and also to Santa Cruz. There are at least 3 hypermarkets in the town and a few coffee shops.

The location was in a very difficult to access to the property. The room provided to us was without light outside of the room. Dirty bed sheets (pillows were brown colour). The smell inside the room was horrible. We had a slide door with glass (no curtains) and the lock didn’t work. Not door keys was not provided to us.
It was not privacy because the share kitchen and bathroom was opposite to our room. Finally, very dangerous stairs. Very bad experience in this place. We left the same day and we sent an email to the owner about it. (He was most concern about the time because he has another job)The host didn’t reply to my messages. Again, horrible experience.
Breakfast was appalling Wi-Fi didn’t have in the rooms I got to the hotel I had been hacked and scammed no reservations the hotel already knew that the booking.com site had been hacked and lots of people in reception had no where to sleep or stay as there was no reservations the bed I had to pay extra for was so uncomfortable I had to find somewhere to stay after I paid extra for only three nights the hotel
New this the whole trip made me sick
Host Simone was very helpful when needed. However he also left you alone to enjoy your holiday. New, modern spacious apartment in a quiet building, with friendly residents. Although location initially appeared remote from the centre of San Isidro, it was well connected with two bus routes, including a direct route to El
Medano. Local Hyperdino store is a short walk away. Choice of tapas bars etc nearby.
simple breakfast, served before we needed to leave for airport. Much appreciated
More a backpackers hostel style B&B. than a hotel-style
It did what is said on the tin and was fine for the night Our stopping off point between ferry and airport
it was in a very quiet part of san isidro and enclosed which made it very secure. The couple who met us when we arrived were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be looking at returning again in the future.
Natalie and Vadim very friendly and helpful.
We spoke with them and share good food.
And I had a good small table for my Computer Work.
San Isidro is a good place for Shopping and has nice Cafés and Bars. IT IS easy to reach the Coast .
Central location in San Isidro - close to El Medano or mountains/ Teide. Very clean apartment, Wifi included. Helpfull neighbours. Easy to park close to apartment. Nice big terace to eat and enjoy evenings. Well equipped
So, my flight was cancelled from Tenerife to the UK.
At extremely short notice and being unable to speak Spanish, i was able to check into this hotel situated abput 10 minutes from the airport.
Central situated in San Isidro. Nice lobby. Good bed, very clean sheets and en suit bathroom. For 50 euros for one night it is ok. Really a one night hotel.
