NO ONE ELSE BUT WITH Casa Alhaja by Shiadu in Sevilla Our recent stay at Casa Alhaja by Shiadu in Sevilla was an absolute dream. Tucked just 2 minutes away from the bustling center of the city, its location served as the perfect gateway for my wife and me to explore Sevilla's enchanting streets and landmarks. This charming hotel, with its blend of comfort and warm hospitality, made our visit truly unforgettable. But let me talk about the breakfast—oh, it was a 5-star experience every morning! The variety, the flavors, everything was impeccably presented and absolutely delicious. It wasn't just a meal; it was a highlight of our day, setting us up for our adventures in Sevilla with satisfied smiles. The staff at the restaurant deserves a special shout-out. Their warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service didn't just impress us; it made us feel truly cared for. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness made every meal feel like a special occasion. Arriving at the ungodly hour of 5 am, we didn't expect much more than perhaps a nod from a sleepy night attendant. Yet, we were greeted with open arms and bright smiles. This level of dedication and commitment to making guests feel welcome, no matter the hour, really sets Casa Alhaja by Shiadu apart in our hearts. Given our splendid experience, it's a given that Casa Alhaja by Shiadu will be our go-to place when we visit Portugal next. Their unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction assures us of another delightful and memorable stay. This is a newly opened hotel in the middle of Seville, very close to everything you would want to see and to all transport facilities. It's 5 minutes away from the airport bus stop, very easy to find, with a little park close by. When you enter the hotel you're greeted instantly and the check in process is very quick whilst you are offered drinks, which is a nice touch. We were more than an hour earlier to check in, but the room was ready and the front desk staff were very accommodating and let us go to the room. You are shown to the room by the staff at the desk, which is also very courteous. The room was exactly what the pictures show, beautiful, quiet and very tastefully decorated, on the minimalistic side, which I appreciated. Everything is new, clean and you can see that they put in a lot of effort into details. The bed was huge, mattress amazingly comfortable and clean, pillows made me go to sleep instantly, sleeping in that bed was the best sleep I had in years. Free mini bar with a few juices and water, coffee machine which I used and made quite good coffee. Did not use the huge tv at all, so I don't know what programs there are. The bathtub in the room was romantic and right on point for our special occasion. Because we were celebrating an anniversary, they made sure that my request for a bottle of wine in the room was accomplished and I must say it was a very good regional Cava. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely hand written note from the hotel as well. Breakfast was quite an experience, in a very elegant atmosphere, freshly cut fruit, juice, coffee, pastries and warm food. I had eggs Benedict which were almost perfect (lemon juice in the hollandaise sauce was a bit too much, but that is only my personal taste, I still ate all from the plate). The only thing I have to say, maybe the waiter needs to put a little smile on his face, because it looked like we bothered him.

Amazing place to stay, accomodation highlight of our Europe trip. Amazing location, huge comfy bed, big TV, cool rooftop and cool bar with really friendly staff. We had the best stay and I could not recommend this place enough. We also had a big balcony with a table and sunbeds, it was really spacious and just a fun place to hang out.

Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.

People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.

The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.

But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.

    The history of this place is fantastic.

    The history of this place is fantastic. There is almost too much to do, so one feels like there is never enough time! But I'd go back in a heartbeat. The surrounding area is jampacked with history in every direction, with amazing ancient stories to wonderful architecture. Walking around is a breeze, and getting a lay of the land is super easy. Watching some Flamenco is a must! Enjoying the nightlife is never going to disappoint. This is an amazing city with a lot going for it! Great little Spanish adventure! Thanks, Seville :-)

    Wonderful City.

    Wonderful City. The architecture was gorgeous - We've never seen a city with so many beautiful building (whether they're houses or Gothic muonuments). We stayed in Las Alamedas de Herceules which was a really cool area. So much to see and do but the best thing to do was to just wander the streets and soak it up.

    Loved the Hop on and Hop Off double decker bus. Was able to see a lot of the city in one day. Stopped at Macarena Cathedral and ate at a fabulous tapas restaurant across the street.Memorable day! I am planning of returning!

    Perhaps one of the most beautiful cities of Spain. Incredible sites to visit (e.g. Plaza de España) and the people are so welcoming and nice. Definitely will go back and have a much longer stay. We always felt safe walking around.

    i liked the infrastructure and architecture though the streets were too narrow to drive. Flamenco performance and Alacazar palace were genuinely amazing to enjoy. City had an energy of its own though it was really expensive.

    I enjoyed the city, cathedral and palace.

    I enjoyed the city, cathedral and palace. I recommend going in the spring, because it is crazy hot in August which was the only time I was available. I am not sorry I went though, with a nice hotel with good ac, pool and plenty of breaks you can do it!

    Set in the old town area of Seville the hotel is superbly located for visiting all the historic sites. The immediate area has an abundance of bars and restaurants just a few steps away. The hotel is very much in the traditional Andalusian style, set around and internal courtyard, or patio. The decor and finishes are equally traditional with wrought iron balconies, tiled floors and plants everywhere. The staff are pleasant and very helpful while quietly going about their work. The best hotel on our three-centre trip!

    Everything was perfect. We had junior suite - amazing room - big, beautiful and comfortable. Just right for family with kid. Very quick check in and check out. Hotel is located close to the city centre (around 15 min walking). Sevilla is one of the best locations in Spain, I liked the city so much.     Wonderful modern hotel with very good staff. location is excellent in the old town. Nice roof top bar. would definitely return when in Seville would also recommend the roof top restaurant at their sister hotel across the road. had an amazing lunch overlooking the Cathedral. more old school but worth the visit
