We loved every minute of our stay! We were treated with the utmost kindness and care, the owner is the most lovely person we've ever met in a hotel, after so many years of traveling.
The warmest smile you'll ever see!
The landscape was also breathtaking!
We stayed two nights - the first of which we took a taxi to Cangas where we ate at a restaurant recommended by our hotel. The second we ate at the Paradore where the meal was excellent too. We had breakfast at a cafe in Comilla’s, a nearby village.
Extremely spacious room for my disabled husband. Fantastic views and magical local dramatic drives through the sensational mountains.
Excellent evening meal and bar snacks. Very pretty walk along the river just behind the hotel.
The food was excellent. We ate lunch, had a light dinner in the bar, and the best hotel buffet breakfast I've ever had.
I enjoyed reading all the information about the location's history and seeing the artifacts left behind.
Everything had been modernized and was very comfortable. I could even get ice from the hotel by asking the staff for it. A beautiful hotel throughout with plenty of parking. There was even a roomba cutting the grass on the lawn!
Nice location, works best if you have a car. The old monastery is lovely part of the hotel. The staff were great and very helpful. Could base from which to visit the area.
