The home is located in a Hamlet on the side of a mountain. It has an ample balcony, from which there is a great view of castle ruins on a nearby hilltop. The surroundings are peaceful with just the distant sound of chickens, cow bells and flowing water, not loud at all and very cheering. The mountains are breathtaking. The home has the feel of a mountain chalet. It appears to be a restored stone barn or house, and well done too.

The location just outside of Ax-les-Thermes was ideal for touring the surrounding mountain region, and the peace and quiet at night were just fantastic. The owners were lovely - thanks again for filling our thermos so many times!

Les Granges d'Ignaux is a very nice b&b located in a gorgeous fraction of Ax Les Thermes, at ten minutes drive. The little town is very picturesque with beautiful corners and amazing views. The b&b is cute, we stayed in a very spacious room that could easily host five people. It's clean and comfortable and offers books and some table games to enjoy.
