This was our 4th stay here which says it all. Super friendly helpful staff . Ideal distance from Calais. Comfortable clean room.Wonderful evening meal. Catered for my gluten free diet exceptionally. Dogs made welcome. Great. Highly recommend.

Accommodation spacious and very comfortable. Beds super comfortable.
Situated in the country but only a five minute drive from the charming little town of Cassel.
Easy reach of Belgian towns of Ypres and Bruges.
Nice breakfast of tasty breads and homemade jams.
Would certainly stay again.

The village has two bars one of which has just re-opened after a stylish refurbishment and now does frites. The village also has a very good bakery open from 06:30 (buy a take away filled baguette to eat on the shuttle).

This was a really authentic stay with a local family.
This was a really authentic stay with a local family. They have several rooms, but we were made to feel special and their welcome could not have been warmer. We asked about a place to eat and the hostess recommended a place, and then she phoned for us and made a reservation. The evening became an experience in itself, with the most friendly of restauranteurs, who chatted to us between courses, which she cooked to order! We even ended up swapping recipes at the end of the evening!!

My dogs were made welcome and we had an ideal room with easy outside access. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and particular effort was put in to provide me with gluten free options ( by far the best I have visited in France) Only 35 minutes from the Eurotunnel. Breakfast is continental and fine for us; there seemed plenty. However the dinner at this hotel is excellent and there was a good choice of menu. This is one of the reasons we have stayed here a number of times before. The staff here are also very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly, we could store our bikes inside. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is not much to do in the area but it was a great stop along the way. The restaurant was very good, we had a great dinner. Highly recommended as a stop along the way!
