Raise your wine glass and toast to the beautiful city of Bordeaux on the banks of the Garonne River. The main city centre is beautiful and worth a visit. There is an abundance of great bars, restaurants, cafes, tabacs and a host of attractions to see. The main part of the city centre is clean and the people in this part of the city are welcoming. Bordeaux is a lovely city and very walkable. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants everywhere. Saturday markets in the street were great and give the city a real buzz. The tram from the airport accesses the center of the town and is a very good, reliable and cheap service. The area along the side of the river is very nice and lots of people gather there just to enjoy the view.
