Set in Bordeaux and with La Cite du Vin reachable within 400 metres, Whoo Bordeaux Bacalan - Hostel offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The property is located less than 1 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge, 2.8 km from Wine and Trade Museum and 3.4 km from Place de la Bourse. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a tour desk.

Super atmosphere, bar, food court, work stations, free luggage storage. I didn't realize till I get there but since they also provide private accommodation (dormitory like) for student semesters around, pretty much whole facility designed and maintained based on that. Which means super attentive staff, clean facilities, geeking/studying fellows. Genuinely lovely atmosphere. Bed are comfortable, has curtains and one power and one USB-A socket. Easy check-in and out, highly secured. There are even cupboards with 4-digit keylock which its code is printed on your keycard. All in all deserves its money! Merci!

Well situated in Bordeaux, Central Hostel Bordeaux Centre offers air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. The property is around less than 1 km from Saint-Michel Basilica, a 13-minute walk from Stone Bridge and 600 metres from Place de la Bourse. The accommodation features evening entertainment and a concierge service.

The beds had their own little curtains so privacy was great overnight. The rooms also had lockers underneath the beds with amazing space for storage (a whole suitcase would fit). The rooms were super clean. The shared bathrooms were totally fine, sometimes a bit crowded. Location of the hostel could not be any better as it is right in the center and has a supermarket next door. The hostel was amazing by itself too, the staff was more than friendly and it was a very social hostel so it was very easy to meet other people when traveling alone. I really had the best time and wished I would have stayed longer.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Very nice hostel, the best location in Bordeaux, close to the river, in a very safe area. When I left the hostel I forgot my passport in the room, but I got it back some hours later (the stuff found it on the floor). I wanna thank again to the stuff for helping me, you were unforgettable :)

Great location 15 minutes outside the city overlooking the picturesque lake. Excellent, cheap tram service, stop is opposite. The situation of the swimming pool on the first floor with the views of the lake was lovely.

Great hostel, almost felt like a hotel at times (apart from the dormitory aspect of course). The rooms were well fitted out with huge lockers, privacy curtains, power sockets and separate toilet and shower. The bar downstairs was good for happy hour and the location is right near a lovely food market which is great if one’s budget allows. The staff also allowed me to stay an extra night in my original bed after my flight got cancelled which was amazing.

Very good location! Everything was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff very friendly. The beds were comfortable, the curtains guaranteed some privacy, and the other guests behaved in a very respectful and quiet way. Nice and clean common space to hang out! I felt very safe as a female solo traveller and would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

Central Hostel in Bordeaux was fantastic! The location was top-notch - buzzing even at midnight, and it felt safe, even for a solo female traveler. Tram stops were nearby and getting here from the airport was a breeze. Bonus points for being close to supermarkets, a pharmacy, and lots of cool places to visit. The receptionist was really friendly, and the facilities were great. But the best part? The comfy beds in the great bedrooms. This is the best hostel I've stayed in Bordeaux.

Look you get what you pay for, this is a budget (cheap) hotel and as a result you cant expect too much. The rooms were clean but basic, pillows are terrible, we bought a few better ones in a local supermarket (we were staying for 5 nights so it was worth it). There was a bad smell in one of the rooms we had but they agreed to move us no problems at all. Breakfast was basic but good also. The kids loved the bunk bed style rooms..
