A great place for an overnight stop. Easy access from the ferry or shuttle and a 5min walk to a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants with the beach not much longer. Secure parking for the motorbike. Clean and comfortable refurbished rooms. The hotel is plain from the outside and work is ongoing in the hallways but look past that and spend the money you'll save on a good night out.
Located opposite the beach at Calais, only 2625 feet from the town center, this hotel is near the ferry terminal and offers well-equipped accommodations sleeping up to 4 people.

The location was perfect. Close enough to centre of town to walk but far way enough to avoid the noise. The fridge was an added bonus.
Local Pizzeria on the corner was excellent.
Walk along the beach is recommended.

Typical B&B, right place for an overnight stop if you drive through A16 or taking a ferry and need a stop. Clean, comfy, good value for mony, free parking, 24/7 automatic check-in. The guy at the reception was very gentle and helpful. The buffet breakfast was rather good for a cheap French hotel (which is usually not the case). Not a five-star restaurant but decent choice of things, including omlette and fried beacon (for those who prefer), not only croissants — definitely worth its price if you need to eat in the morning without wasting time.

We ate at Family Pub which is a friendly, open-all-day spot. Calais is small and a pedestrian-perfect town. We hit it on a very windy weekend. We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn from booking.com. Claire was wonderful. She had valuable insight on places to eat. Her apartment is ultra clean and modern with all the latest tech with massive big beds. Plan to return.

We didn't stay long enough to be able to give a decent review of Calais, just 48 hours. We did really enjoy it and will happily return. There were a large selection of restaurants to choose from, some large, slightly out of town hypermarches, and some boulangeries that we enjoyed. We enjoyed Le Bleriot Beach, even in February. We visited Dunkirk and even crossed the border into De Panne in Belgium. We discovered that Calais is most definitely a place to visit in its own right, not just for a night before a ferry or a tunnel crossing.

Calais as been revamped, and a lot of money spent on the beach area. Good restaurants!! Especially one called the MOUTON BLANC!! Simple French cooking and cheap. This place could be a great family holiday. Great beaches and nice walks to do. Your not that far from Paris or Brussels with easy access to trains that Serve both capitals. Yes overall good place.

Calais is seen by many as just a convenient stopover to take the ferry and not as a destination in its own right. It may not have aesthetic attraction of nearby Boulogne sur Mer but there are things to see and do. Take a wander and see the stunning Calais Town Hall and tower . There is the famous Rodin sculpture The Burghers of Calais which is very impressive and the shopping , there is quite a good choice for restaurants and bars. Plus, very underrated is the sandy beach.

Usually travel through Calais but we were pleasantly surprised at finding some really interesting older places around the centre. We found a really lovely little family restaurant that was full of locals. Excellent food and service at a reasonable price with a great atmosphere. Certainly gave us an insight into Calais which was very favourable.
Very convenient with very secure parking. Highly recommended if travelling with bikes etc. breakfast was great and the freshly squeezed orange machine a great touch. Location was perfect and 10 mins from the tunnel. Hotel was lovely and nice and modern. Bar was good and plenty of free games to keep the kids busy all evening. Loads of bars and eateries nearby. Good arts scene in Calais and would stay a little longer in future as was a pleasant surprise.
A nice, quiet room in a boutique hotel. Good location. The room was spotlessly clean an the twin beds comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Spoke English. Provided an early check-in. After checking out we were able to leave our bags and even invited to use the hotel's lounge area. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel. [Note: stairs no elevator]
This apartment is in a strange neighbourhood but not far from the centre of Calais, very conveniently located in order to board Le Shuttle. There is a private car park underneath and access to a pool. The apartment is spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is a separate living room with kitchen facilities. Nice to relax after a long journey. Lots of shops nearby.
This is a stunning hotel right in the centre of Calais. The rooms are beautifully decorated and themed on aspects of Calais' history. Laurent and Nathalie are exceptional hosts; they run the hotel with pride and commitment. We had a medical issue whilst we were staying with them and they were extremely helpful and supportive.
We will definately be returning!
The breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice. Hubby was loving the fresh crepes. Our little lad loved all the little bits you could get, pastries, yogurt, juices.. hotel was okay. Location is amazing. Right on the beach. So much available on the beach, park, inflatableS, bars, food, entertainment, etc. Parking was good. Staff were fab.
Very close to the centre of Calais. Parking available. Excellent bedroom with period features. Comfortable double bed with private toilet and excellent shower. Hosts are friendly and helpful. We had a superb 3 course evening meal with good value wine and beer available. Grand Theatre de Calais is just across the road.
Welcoming and friendly staff who were very helpful. Even though the restaurant was closed, there were snacks available that meant I did not have to go out of the hotel. The staff at reception on check out were really helpful printing out paperwork needed for the trip from Calais to Dover.
On a Christmas shopping trip to Calais and Hotel Meurice was an absolute oasis in the middle of Calais. Very friendly staff, a lovely old fashioned French hotel, good bar and within walking distance to the many bars and restaurants Calais has to offer. Will definitely stay again.
This was a real surprise. We were only looking for somewhere to stop before the Calais ferry and were very impressed with the hotel and its excellent staff. The restaurant was way better than we were expecting — I would recommend the hotel both for accommodation and for dining.
The apartment has been recently renovated and is equipped with modern amenities including induction cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. It is located in the heart of Calais and is very easy to find and with free parking in nearby streets.
Great location so near the beach and the town too.
The food in the restaurant was enjoyable. I loved the salmon.
The room was comfortable and there was free parking nearby.
If we come to Calais again then I will return to this hotel.
Staff very friendly and considerate. Restaurant very good. Bed comfy and good choice of British TV channels. Kettle in room was a great bonus and the shower was the best I've had in any Hotel - really powerful jet.
Good location
Close to ferry
Beach literally right in front of hotel
Staff very friendly and helpful

Excellent value at £52 for a Saturday night stay

Nice apartment in the city centre of Calais. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The perfect choice for a short stay-over on one's way to or from the Channel Tunnel.
