the location can not be better. it’s a 2 minute easy walk down to the river side where all the restaurants are, and a 3 minute drive to the town to shop for food and fresh bakery. there is a large living room, dining room, 2 large bedrooms, modern bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the river a short distance below.

It was pretty much what you expect from a golf hotel - functional . The best part was the restaurant, the food was lovely and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. There was a group of young gymnasts staying in adjoining accommodation at the hotel and they were incredibly well behaved and a delight to see. The hotel is situated in a quiet rural location - we took a very pleasant stroll in the evening past all the holiday Gites.JacquiUnited Kingdom

Perfect location in Clécy, halfway up slope between river and village. Selection of good riverside restaurants 5 minutes walk, plus more in village. Easy to get to voie verte (cycling holiday). We were able to store bikes overnight in cellar, which also contained a large refrigerator for guests. The Suisse Normande is a beautiful area and not overrun by tourists like us!

I enjoyed the surroundings of the place as it is next to the river which gives it a holiday feeling. A nice location to stay and bring your family and kids to relax. This hotel caters to these types of guests, and not to a traveling business tripper. The environment is really beautiful, and could be a gold mine, if updated and refurbished.
