Very quiet location in the middle of parc natural de l'Aubrac. We stayed only one night but I think it would be very nice to tour on foot or on bicicle. Garage parking for motorcycles, restaurant is very good and staff is exceptionally friendly and helpfull.

The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early, which was great because we had been walking all day on the GR65 to get there. The breakfast buffet was Really good -- great selection and quality of food.

Alex was a great host. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming after acling day of walking in the rain. they even had a dryer for our wet shoes. And they iffer an overnight laundry service! Would recommend this to anyone traveling through the area.
This is 6.5 k from the village of Esteing. There is quite a bit to see in that town and it has several shops open early for coffee and a bite. Visit the church. The walk out of town is easier than most for the first mile because it is along the river. However, like all others, you do have to climb your way up and over eventually.
