Hotel Bal, was fine, no frills, but fine. Bed was comfy and well made, room very clean. Breakfast in the morning was simple, but again, fine. The country house and grounds were exquisite! A real French country estate with orchards, flower gardens, chickens, and farm cats all over the property. The restaurant was very nice and there is a reading room with overstuffed leather chairs if you want to sit by the fire and read.
