Once you’ve met her, it’s hard to bear a grudge against the awkward shutter we struggled to close for the night. Sure, Abel is a country hotel without a plethora of restaurants on its doorstep but if you’re looking for a thrilling ‘go ape’ type place, there’s one 5 min drive away. So, If you need to ziG zag over a river at great speed, Abel is the ideal place and possibly only one in Langeac :)FredUnited Kingdom

The rooms are amazing—the entire hotel was refurbished by the owners in 2019 (hence the name) from a derelict building. Everything inside is new and it looks absolutely stunning. The beds are super comfy. Free parking behind hotel. Great shower. And the breakfast is so good. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. Highly, highly recommended.JustinSwitzerland

A really charming hotel in Langeac just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Chantal and her team couldn't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. It was such a delightful and peaceful stay after a long day on the bike. Would highly recommend.
