This was an ideal location to break our journey.
This was an ideal location to break our journey. We decided to give ourselves a day there to rest and find out more about the area. We had come prepared with food for Sunday evening to heat up in the farm's microwave. Unfortunately the local restaurants also closed on Monday - I checked with the tourist office and they were all closed, so be prepared if staying here for limited availability. It is an attractive area - Chateaudun has a nice ambiance, and deserves to be better known but the tourist facilities aren't quite in place.Sue
