it was a tale of two rooms. My husband and I had the Venice Carnival suite. it was lovely in all ways. our friends stayed in the Lord of London room (more about that below). The chateau is beautiful with lovely grounds. I especially liked the covered Moroccan like lounge area in the pool area. The breakfast buffet was varied and excellent.

The eco-friendly Hotel de la Regate is located on the edge of the River Erdre, with views of the Château de la Gascherie. It offers a hot tub and free Wi-Fi.
