This small hotel welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere, in Perpignan, facing the railway station – the “center of the universe” according Salvador Dali.

Someone like me wants to spend one night and be close to the station, so the place is excellent
Located on the banks of the Basse in Perpignan, next to the emblematic Castillet, Hotel de France is set in an 1833 building and is located in the town center.

the location was great with the exception of an Argentinian tango event directly outside our balcony on the square that went into the night. loved our little balcony otherwise.
Hôtel Mondial is a 10-minute walk from Perpignan Train Station and from the Palais des Congres, a 3-minute walk from the Castillet Monument, and just 1 minute from the Archipel Theater.
My wife and I have stayed in everything from 5-star hotels...
My wife and I have stayed in everything from 5-star hotels to simple B&Bs, but now the bottom has hopefully been reached. We travel through Europe twice a year and use many hotels for this and one of these was on our way down to Spain. ASINERIE KULENI which on Booking.com received an extraordinary number of 5 stars. After the review and a lot of good reviews, we chose to book a room there. We were able to specify our wishes and chose a room with a view of the garden. We arrived at the site over an almost overgrown and very potholed road at 3.18pm. After some searching we found a family sitting and eating in the main building. The hostess told me that I arrived too early because they weren't expecting us until 16 a time which I had estimated as approx. When we asked if it was possible to get something to drink, we were sent to the nearest village where there were several restaurants, she said. It was a 20 minute trip to get something to drink and 20 minutes back to check in. The room we were allocated was small and had nothing that one would expect from a room. Not a glass to drink from, a fridge that didn't work. A very simple shower room and separate WC. The view to the garden was through a sliding door whose lock was broken and not repaired. The garden was completely dried up and a sad sight. Dirty, dusty and withered grass and plants. The food that we had been looking forward to after the review was not there either. The hostess told that the kitchen was closed because they had not received the goods they needed! In our booking I had made sure that there was a restaurant or catering and air conditioning. Now we had to leave again to travel to the neighboring village to get food. Incredibly bad in absolutely every way. I cannot understand where Booking.com derives its criteria for being accepted as a client.
