It was a perfectly fine budget hotel that was easy to get to. The air conditioning was especially nice during the hot summer and there was very nice mall across the street. The staff was also very friendly. Will definitely book here again next time I’m in the area!

I did not get the room I booked as I wanted to have a room overlooking the car park - the hotel eventually changed my room for me. Also I was charged €185.71 for my one night stay including breakfast when I expected to be charged the lower price I booked on Booking.con. I thought that I would be charged the price I booked but the hotel said I did not book breakfast included which I did so they added this cost then added local taxes and also charged me €6 for changing my booking arrival date by one day!

Great location.
Great location. Friendly and well equipped for dogs and kids. Friendly staff. Great breakfast but pretty poor evening food (go into town for a decent meal - use the hotel restaurant if you want something fast)

The hotel is a great stop for the night en route to Calais and we have stayed before, an economical stay.
The hotel is neglected and and needs updating.
Bathroom en suite had no tissues, only one hand towel.
The staff were pleasant enough but the restaurant service was dreadful, we waited over half an hour for our first plate, and the same for our main dish, no clearing of our dishes so we left.
We would not recommend and will not use the hotel again in the future.
It could be so much better.

Good hotel with real **** quality for a short stay during a longer journey. Clean in- and outside. Very calm, if you take a rearward room. Good continental breakfast. Big parking lot. Excellent matrasses.
Regrettably without restaurant, but a small bistro.
Roi Soleil is situated close to the autoroute exit at the outscirts of town. Walking downtown takes quite a while and taking your car after a long jouney isreally no choice, especially if you are looking forward to drinking one or two glasses of good french wine...
There is e restaurant nearby the hotel which offers lousy quality for big money.
This place is an amazing find. The room is basic but has everything you need. The food - breakfast and dinner was above and beyond. The place is organised around the patisserie, so not surprising😊 It was incredibly good value and a welcome change from the corporateness of chain hotels. Lots of single guests, just travellers minding their own business, so I didn’t feel conspicuous as a woman travelling alone. The staff were friendly and spoke English much better than my schoolgirl French.
Hotel was very clean and the bedroom was large with a bed comfortable. Nice bathroom and large shower. Didn't eat in the restaurant but had a few drinks at the bar. Nice outside seating area but view was trucks & buildings. Plenty of grass areas for walking the dogs. Young lad who served at the bar and on reception was very nice & helpful, he didnt speak much English but we got by with Google translator.
Took my 2 stepkids for a quick getaway to somewhere near KTown. The hotel has a pool which was great. The restaurant is amazing and perfect for a novice trying French food. Some staff speak English. Right by the largest American cemetery in Europe worth a look. There is an amazing bowling alley two minutes away with virtual games and laser tag fun for teens and adults!
This hotel would have been called a 'relais routier' in the old days as it is positioned next to a lorry park but the food is excellent. The rooms are clean and quiet. There is an excellent bar and a very nice terrace to sit out and eat and drink.Close to the A26.
Our stay was amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was big enough, comfortable and very clean. Excellent breakfast. Free parking outside of the hotel. Very good value of money. This hotel is highly recommended.
What an absolutely amazing find.
Clean. Tidy,Smart, Charming. Think of all the good words to describe something. They all apply here.
Brilliant Breakfast. Pool. Everything you need in a small Hotel
With a delightful host.
A nice little hotel about half a mile from the motorway.Nice room good breakfast & restaurant for evening meals. The outdoor pool was a welcome plus on a hot day.Safe parking on site.
The staff are really polite & helpful. The hotel is ideally located to give access to motorways if travelling. The rooms are small, but have a kettle, tv & a comfortable bed.
The hotel is located in a small, quiet place. It has a nice pool and a spacious yard.
The rooms are clean. The breakfast is excellent.
Parking is good.
