the kindness of the young girl at the reception who tried to make our stay pleasant. The courtesy of the waitress at the restaurant who changed the dish because it was not the fish that had been advertised on the menu (overcooked tuna served instead of the swordfish on the menu)

We have stayed in Saverne several times as it is a convenient place to break the drive down to Southern France. It never disappoints, we have always been at Christmas time and the high street has wonderful decorations and Christmas lights. The Christmas market is fun and theres Vin chad and waffles, burgers etc and an ice rink for the children.

Very pretty, especially the rose garden.
Very pretty, especially the rose garden. The museum is ok - cool which was a bonus as we were there in the heatwave. Restaurants seem to keep opening hours secret so eating out was patchy. Would recommend the Lebanese which wasn't far from the apartment. The Stebuel close to us wasn't accessible being down stairs to the restaurant then treacherous stairs to the toilets. It's great watching boats go through the lock that takes the canal under the road beside the main square.
The location of the apartment was walking distance to the center of Saverne with complimentary private garage parking under the apartment. The apartment came with a nice living room, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, good bathroom with large rainshower. The kitchen came with fridge and freezer, induction plate and all necessary utensils, also a coffee machine with capsules. The whole apartment was very clean and comfortable.
This apartment was such a comfortable place to stay. It felt so homely and welcoming. Sandrine was on time with meeting us and went to great lengths to communicate taking into account my bad French. Saverne is a lovely small town great for a short stay while we were cycling the canals. our bikes were safely stored. Our host treated us to refreshments and pretzels!
The flat was spacious and very clean with everything I needed. I also liked the fact that it had a lot of light and a small balcony to sit on. It was in a v quiet location about 5-10 mins walk from the centre of Saverne , which is a pretty town situated in lovely countryside.
We thought the flat was lovely. It was nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and nice views. The location is very close to the centre of Saverne and some good bars and restaurants. The owner responded quickly to my queries.
The room was larger than expected and very nicely laid out. We liked that we could open the windows for fresh air. The hotel was very quiet and the staff was friendly and efficient. Their COVID protocols were excellent.
Annie was a very attentive host. The rooms were beautifully decorated with some nice personal touches. We were only twenty minutes walk from the centre of Saverne (plenty of parking if you prefer to drive).
Stylish, quaint, easy walking to Saverne centre. Very large, comfortable, well equipped room with old fashioned furniture and huge bathroom. Excellent restaurant. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast was delivered to our room and was good. The hotel is in a historic mansion high up the Haut Barr, and the view from our room was incredible.
