Where to start? With Isabelle, our host, who is a delightful lady, amiable, considerate, whose primary concern is the comfort and wellbeing of her guests for whom nothing is too much trouble. She will endeavour to answer any questions give directions and advise on good places to eat nearby and which to avoid.
Breakfast is plentiful and tasty with freshly made homemade peach and raspberry jams to go on your croissants (not sure if the French do that but I do once buttered)
The location of her chambre-d'hôtes is fantastic if your primary motivation for visiting the area is to go to Beauval Zoo, a must, which is literally minutes away in the car but which, to do it justice needs a 2-day visit. Great stop to relax in the middle of the vineyard and enjoy the visits of the castles nearby! The hosts are very friendly and we enjoyed discovering the vines with them. A great stay with excellent breakfast!
