It was cozy, felt like home, with a bar on the premises to hang out and chat and a weekly charity event. Community oriented.
Great breakfast. Sue makes the best croissants!

I needed to stay in the area and am so fortunate that a room was available. I didn't realize it when I
booked, but it is one of the places featured on Chateau DIY. The pool was fantastic (it was a very hot day!), and Lee and Belinda were friendly and accommodating despite being very busy. Definitely get the dinner - it is communal, tasty, and so much fun to meet other travelers. I stayed in the chateau and looked at the other rooms before I left. All are quite large. I also took a peek at the gite that was renovated on Chateau DIY and would stay there if I return with my family. Thanks to Belinda and Lee and their lovely castle, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip.
