I have stayed in Self Catering locations all over the world and this one by far exceeds any of them. Kate's Cottage is pristinely clean, it has everything you need if you wanted to just move in for a few days or for a whole summer. The decor and little touches are just beautiful and very welcoming. There is a huge claw foot tub to soak in after a long day of hiking the Northern Irish countryside. The location is on the road to Balintoy Harbor. 15 minutes from Giants Causeway, Bushmills and Dunluce Castle. 12 minutes from the Dark Hedges. 4 minutes to Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. She leaves a great book of information on local restaurants. And if you get to chat with her you will make a new life long friend! I can not say enough good things about the Cottage or the Host! We will return soon.

I couldn't say enough about the place!! It was our favorite out of our stay in Northern Ireland and R.O.Ireland. The accommodations were over and above. Easy and detailed access to get in and even helpful directions depening on where your coming from. Arrival to Champagne, as we were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. We had everything we needed and more for breakfast, local snacks, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, etc! Everything is as scene in photos and gorgeous inside. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We did even make use of the private hot tub in the back while gazing at the stars. I HIGHLY recommend to stay and its located in between 2 small easy accessable down town areas where we could pick up groceries to make our own lunches and dinner in the kitchen where we found everything we needed. Also located right in the middle of tourist views and castle ruins. It's by far one of the my favorite places and can't wait to come back! thank you Steve and Emily for being excellent hosts! We were staying at the Castle B&B for one night with early start for the Giants Causeway. We walked down to the harbour for a beautiful sunset and great photo opportunities. There were some interesting birds to photograph and the setting sun made the sea look like molten copper. It was a perfect evening.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves ocean and island views and wonderful sunsets. Spotless and comfortable accommodation. Good wifi. Only downside for orange mobile phone users is no signal in house or Main Street. Top tip is that you can get signal in the churchyard of the beautiful white church or anywhere below that to the wonderful harbour.

Our accommodation, The Castle B&B, is situated in an ideal location for anyone wishing to enjoy the walks, the breathtaking scenery and the lovely harbour. Donagh McShane, who runs the B&B, is a very friendly and witty guy and we enjoyed a good laugh with him……and he even gifted us a bag of his home grown potatoes (which were delicious) as we headed for home. Whitepark Bay is easily accessed from the harbour although the little village of Ballintoy has little to offer in the way of amenities.

Visit the North Coast a lot but new to Ballintoy and it’s so charming. Quiet & peaceful with beautiful walks and views, there’s a couple of small cafes near the harbour and restaurant in the little village. It’s small and quiet, not one for nightlife at all - plenty of places a taxi away if that’s what you’re after.

Ballintoy harbour - keep left and you can go on a beautiful coastal walk for miles . Be careful of tide changes if you do the long walk. The Red Door cafe is great . Great views and beautiful chowder and homemade desserts . Sit and relax with a coffee or wine . In Ballintoy you can stay in hotels b&b”s or little cottages . Note. Bring cash as one bar only has card machine until 8.30. Also no ATM”s .
Everything. This location is unreal, pictures don't do it justice. House is so well maintained with everything you need to hand. Ballintoy Town is so small(in a good way) but the views are exceptional, and Ballycastle Town just up the road has everything you can't get in ballintoy.
We stayed here with the plan of seeing the giants causeway and carrick-a-rede rope bridge, and it did not dissappoint.
I couldn't have asked for anymore from the hosts, so understanding and flexible with any needs and issues.
We will be back 👍
Amazing location in the countryside, but close to Bushmills, Ballintoy and White Park Bay. Exactly what we were looking for. The property was spacious and well presented. The host was only a message away if we needed anything, and responded within minutes. Highly recommended!!
The property was in the perfect location for exploring the local sites. A 2 minute drive to Carrick a rede, 10 minutes from The giants causeway, and directly in the harbour. The cottage was beautifully finished; it felt like we were in a premium hotel- the beds were so comfy!
Stayed in family apartment on second floor in the annex behind the main building which was large with sizable living space, good for a family of 5. Location is very good, Ballintoy Harbour and Carrick-a-Rede within easy walking distance, and other NI sights not far away.
The staff was extremely friendly and responsive to my inquiries prior to checking in. We had a great time conversing with the staff and bartender and learning more about the country. I lived the Game of Thrones room and information about it's connection to the local area.
The pub is in a fantastic location to explore the Giant Causeway coastline with a 1 mile walk to the fabulous Ballintoy Harbour. Food is very good, the Fish Chowder exceptional. Staff are excellent and very attentive. The room was large with a good walk in double shower
Great location- Did spectacular 5 mile cliff side walk on National Trust trail to Giant’s Causeway from Dunseverick parking area right off the Coastal Road minutes away from hotel and was able to get public bus back easily accessible just outside the visitor center.
The accommodation was very modern and clean, the staff were very nice and friendly. I would recommend the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very highly rated. The location of this property was great near main attractions such as Carrick-a-Rede and Dark Hedges.
The view of the bay from the hostel was spectacular. The room and communal areas were very clean. It is a great location for seeing the Giants Causeway, Dunseverick Castle and Ballintoy - all a short drive away. Good places to eat in nearby Ballintoy.
Great location right on the strand! Beautiful views, from common area, of the ocean. Kitchen had many supplies, well stocked. Lots of tables and comfy seating in common areas. Very near carrick-a-rede rope bridge and giants causeway.
The B&B is very well located, close to Ballintoy Harbour, Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway and other attractions. The staff is kind and thoughtful, the room is comfortable, cozy and clean. The breakfast is great.
Location is great. The view of the beach is wonderful. Our family enjoyed walking down to the beach and the 2 boys had a great time playing there. Very convenient to the Heritage sites nearby.
Ideal location within walking distance to the lovely little harbour and the restaurants in Ballintoy. Donnach was very friendly and informative. Breakfasts were spot on.
Such a beautiful comfortable place to stay. Caroline very welcoming and helpful. nice and quiet and excellent breakfast. location ideal for seeing Giants Causeway
Great location, house is perfect. Communication with Alan was very easy and he was always quick to answer. Couldn't recommend enough a stay in Ballintoy.
