Beach House Hotel, hotel in Beadnell

Located in Seahouses, a 7-minute walk from Seahouses North Beach, Beach House Hotel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.

We had a bedroom and a sitting room/ sun room. The hotel was immaculate, with a tub and shower. Our room had a separate entry. We arrived later than 8 pm. However the gentleman at the reception desk checked me in…. Even though he was off shift. David showed me how to work everything in the room. Later we joined other guest for a calm evening in the bar.

Beadnell is now a mainly tourist village, with a lot of new houses and more being built. But this is because it is such a good location, right next to the sea with the coast path, the wide and long sandy beaches and tiny old harbour. for a small places there are quite a few places to eat, and a shop. It is very popular with people with dogs, and kite-surfers!

Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer.

Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer. It has good beaches, several coffee shops and restaurants to suit most people. The Courtyard Coffee shop was particularly handy for a quick bite to eat. A Fish and Chip van is parked near the village shop but you would need to check opening times. Very good local village shop which is clean and well stocked. Food, Gifts cards, Ice cream, drinks, newspapers magazines wine and beer. You can walk between the village and the harbour. There is a caravan park and several chalets to rent out. There are a number of places to park but at weekends and peak times it’s a little more tricky. A short car ride away is Seahouses and in addition Beadnell is a good base to explore the Northumbrian coast.

Excellent location for Farn Islands and Holy Island.

Excellent location for Farn Islands and Holy Island. Only complaint is there are very few restaurants or pubs nearby and the cafe closed at 5pm. Accommodation is very good value for what we paid and is roomy and comfortable for 2 people.

Friendly, helpful staff, despite it being incredibly busy when we checked in on Saturday night. excellent cooked breakfast the following morning. Nice comfortable room, with good drawer space - a rarity in so many hotels these days. We ate in the hotel on the Saturday night. Although it was really busy, the staff had thoughtfully kept a table for us, and the service was good despite the restaurant being full.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our hosts. So many little touches that made the cottage so homey and warm. Bright decor, lovely little ornaments plus the addition of hand-wash, kitchen towel, toilet rolls, condiments which were totally unexpected but gratefully received. The kitchen was well equipped and cottage well furnished. Beadnell Tower was a short walk and a great place to eat.
