We had our own fenced off area with lovely views and was able to keep the dog in his own area too with no problems. The cows was a great way to desensitise him! Loved it. We had a lovely BBQ which Jayne gave to us to cook on, she was a very welcoming and friendly host.

A peaceful village with limited facilities.

A peaceful village with limited facilities. Follow the towpath to the old Flint mill and its fascinating place in history and visit the Red Lion for meals. Generally accessed from the railway but a great shame the expected railway museum no longer exists, Plenty of footpaths but few maps - I used an O.S. map for general orientation.

A lovely village close to Stoke and The Staffordshire Moorlands. The canal is two minutes away and there are 3 pubs and a bistro within 15 minutes of the property - all do food in the evenings. Walks along the canal in both directions are possible
