Lovely and cozy hotel. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our room. The room was extremely comfortable, with lots of space and a big bed. Our waiter at dinner, He-man, was beyond exceptional to us and everyone in the dining room.

Get away from it all at this hotel high on the side of the Black Mountains, overlooking the Usk Valley and the surrounding hills.

It Is a beautiful place. It is old but very well maintained. We felt very comfortable there. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly. Really nice sauna with cold shower - excellent after hiking. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back:)

    There are very good walks around clydach.

    There are very good walks around clydach. We went into an amazing ancient beech woods, and even more amazing was the waterfall. Wonderfull nature all around. Pubs just around the corner bit of an hill but not too bad.
