Liked Everything. Delightful themed hotel...small and individual. The accommodation was spotless and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Superb home-cooked food. Everything a large hotel cannot be. The location is good...on a quiet road, with options to walk the wonderful countryside and the New Forest. Railway enthusiasts will be bowled over with the tasteful thoughtful memorabilia from the age of steam. Superb.

The food was good. Large space to dine in. Rooms were big, and the bathroom was lovely. Receptionist, barmen, and young waitress in the evening of our arrival were incredibly lovely and polite.
