We stayed as we hired a room for a party. The room(s) we hired were just wonderful. We had the run of 4 interconnecting rooms all splendidly furnished and decorated with period ornaments and artefacts. The buffet spread was excellent and actually too much. We ordered a buffet for 20 people to cater for approx 30 who turned up and there was plenty left. The catering and bar staff couldn't do enough to help us.

Staff were extremely friendly, food was excellent and any issues were dealt with quickly. Room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable.

This former coaching inn dates back to 1649, and offers free Wi-Fi and à la carte dining.
