This accommodation is perfect in every way.

This accommodation is perfect in every way. It is the best location for all the most important things to see on Isle of Skye. The accommodation is spa like in its appointments and the scenery is just amazing. The peace and quiet were so relaxing. You should arrange to arrive before dark on the first day to reduce your stress in finding this beautiful accommodation. Once you have found it, you will have no problems from that point on. Do not bother with standard GPS. I ended up relying on google maps and it found the property no problems even though it is remote. Locate with the GPS coordinates given in the booking area and save the map to you phone. The owner, Lisa is very lovely and completely respecting of your privacy but clearly there if you need her. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not book another accommodation on another trip if this one is available. Like I said, I highly recommend you not make a mistake and book this cottage. The value is fantastic.

We've been on the island one week.

We've been on the island one week. Eyre is a good location to visit the central and north part of Skye. There are lots of paths and stunning landscape that can be easily reach from Eyre. There were a couple of pubs at a walking distance from our place, but for the food shopping we always stopped in Portree (20mins away). It is maybe a bit far to reach the South, especially when you need to quickly adjust your plans to enjoy a better weather, but double ;)
