Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast menu offered a wide selection of options and was cooked to perfection with wonderful ingredients. The hotel has a list of their food suppliers on display and this food provenance is reflected in the wonderful freshly cooked dinners we enjoyed. The main courses were all large portions and very satisfying. The bar had an excellent selection of scottish gins all well worth trying. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The hosts Irene and Scott are very friendly and made us very welcome.
A family-run guest house, Tregortha is set in a stunning location, overlooking the narrow sea channel of the Kyles of Bute. It has free Wi-Fi and is entirely double glazed.

Comfortable, clean, bedroom. Facilities expected were present. Refurbished showeroom. Breakfast cooked for us to order. Food nice - standard fare- nice steak pie. Quiet, despite very close proximity to A83.
