They made the breakfast for you individually and it was good. We did not have to follow the menu that was given and could ask for what we wanted.

Wonderful location with direct views and access to the Tor. Incredibly peaceful during the day and night. I stayed in a glamping pod which was perfect for one person and had plenty of intimacy. Can't wait to be back!

Everything - Paula made us feel like home with generous choices of delicious & good material quality breakfast - the best ever.
All the amenities in the room are top class and show us how considerate & attentive our host is.
The parking spaces, though small, always have a room for us.
Love it here & Thank you, Paula, for making our days & nights one of the best experiences we’ve had during our journey.

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old.
I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess.
Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess. Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan.
A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.
The room was perfect with a comfy bed, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with a private back terrace where you could sit out for meals.
Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast.
All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!
Lovely Full English breakfast delivered to my door at exactly the time I had requested. The room was very clean and tidy. The fridge outside my door was very handy. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk to use. Located near St Johns car park at the back of the George and Pilgrim Hotel for which made it easier to access your vehicle to top up parking by 9am, as parking is free from 18.00 hrs - 09.00hrs.
I would certainly book here again and highly recommend a stay here.
Excellent breakfast (as always)
Lovely communal spaces and SO many esoteric books and tarot card decks to browse and borrow whilst you’re there. It’s really a wonderful place to stay and gives you so much more of a proper ‘Glastonbury/Avalon’ experience than any other B&B/hotel
Always friendly and welcoming. This visit we stayed in the Hedgewitch room for the first time which was perfect for two friends to share. Thank you.
Excellent position in town. Amazing view of the Tor and the Abbey ruins from our bedroom window. Good sized room. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen. Great to use as a base for visiting Glastonbury and the surroundings. The full English breakfast was huge so kept us going for a long time. Breakfast was included but all the food was reasonably priced.
Staff were helpful and friendly despite being very busy. .
Location was perfect for our stay. We were attending the Glastonbury festival, and the bust stop to get to the festival was a couple of minutes walk from the property.
The apartment suites out needs well in terms of facilities and comfort.
I would like to return to Glastonbury soon to explore the area more , the town is very nice, and would definitely consider staying here again.
A lovely warm welcome in a lovely warm house, nicely located in Glastonbury town. You're literally staying in one of their spare rooms Airbnb-style (with another room available to another booker) - and there's no locks on the bedroom doors - so you may wish to consider that if you're so inclined, but it isn't an issue for me, and I otherwise heartily recommend a stay here.
Right in the center of the village, a stones throw from the Abbey and a bazillion groovy shops. The staff was extremely nice, and the food was really good-I highly recommend the crispy pork. and noodle bowl for lunch or dinner with a nice cider alongside.
All the things to really do in Glastonbury are within walking distance.
It was so well set up, cosy, beautiful location. I travel loads for work, so this felt like a home not a hotel. I loved how close I was to Glastonbury for my meetings but that I felt like I was on holiday.
Being able to cook dinner, breakfast and make up some lunch was also great, saved me a lot of money too.
The bed was like a dream. I have backpain every day in the morning, but in Glastonbury in the Crown I haven't. It was fantastic and I'm sure that was because of the bed. The breakfast was also delicious and the room is really quiet, almost the hotel is located in the High Street directly. We will come again.
The Breakfasts created by Aymen were a high point, such a wonderful cook and easily accommodated my food sensitivities. The location was ideal for evening walks to the Tor nearby….. I will be in Glastonbury again and I know exactly where I’m staying…. they both were terrific hosts.
Exceptional, beautifull space to stay in Glastonbury. Great location, quite place for retreate, near all the Glastonbury Sacred places. Spacious rooms, include all possible facilities for comfortable stay, as well outside hot tub. Owners support was excelent all time.
Beautiful historic building. Friendly helpful staff. I had a beautiful room. Very comfortable bed, super clean and a great breakfast to start your day!! Great location right in the center of shops and close to the Abby. It was perfect for my visit to Glastonbury.
If ever there were a perfect vacation home, this is it. The home itself is exceptional and exactly as advertised. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are outstanding, and the location is absolutely ideal for visiting Glastonbury.
Very central in Glastonbury. All the staff we met were helpful and polite. This hotel advertised itself as being the oldest in Glastonbury. Unfortunately it was dated and in need of investment to improve the levels of comfort expected for the price paid.
I loved that it was so close to Glastonbury, Bath and Stonehenge and yet was apart from hustle and bustle. Such a cozy, country, quiet vibe. The apartment is very roomy and the hosts super friendly. Beautiful place.
Breakfast was good and we were made very welcome
Any problems were resolved speedily by the hostess with a smile
The hotel was convenient for the centre of Glastonbury and there was room to park cars
Clean and comfortable, two bathrooms, beds very comfortable. Very central, only 2-3 minutes walk round the corner to the abbey and centre of Glastonbury, Dedicated parking place outside the mews.
This facility has a great location to Glastonbury center and reasonable walks to Chalice Well, Tor and Abbey. It was nice to return to such a comfortable room!
