We stayed in the main building, in a room on the top floor and had a huge Four Poster Bed overlooking the beautiful grounds. It was very quirky and atmospheric. Really old fixtures and fittings. The Bathroom was huge with a large bath and modern fittings. Very clean. The breakfast was good and included in our room price. The small bar had comfy seats and the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The whole place felt very welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere in a great location. We met with family for an overnight stay and it was very enjoyable.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! Firstly, the room. Stunning! We had a choice of rooms which was lovely touch, all with different styles. The room we had was amazing! Bed was very comfy, plenty of room, and an incredible bathroom. The shower was the best shower I've ever had! The facilities in the room were lovely too. A very good coffee machine provided a stunning espresso in the morning, and the well stocked mini fridge and snacks was a nice touch. The hotel - stunning! Everything was very clean and the hotel had a lovely scent! The staff were very attentive and provided great tips on seeing the town and food recommendations. The outside area was lovely too, with plenty of space for a quiet beer in the garden surrounded by flowers. The location - perfect! Located on the prettiest street of Stratford, very close to restaurants, pubs and activities. Easy to get to and from. The restaurant - What a restaurant! The Woodsman was easily one of the best restaurants we have been to. Food was amazing, drinks were lovely, and the ambiance was perfect. We are planing to come back to Stratford just for another stay in this hotel and a meal at the Woodsman! I cannot recommend this place enough!

An exceptional find, value for money and an ideal stopover - I would have gladly stayed longer. I'm afraid I never bother to respond to these marketing exercises, but I thought I should make the effort to acknowledge the warm welcome, friendly and attentive service, spacious accommodation, excellent standard of facilities and ideal rural location of Alne Park B&B. There is the added interest and attraction that Alne Park also contributes to the local economy as an active centre for horse breeding. It would be hard to find a better equipped, peaceful and relaxing place to stay, in an authentic country house setting just minutes away from main routes across the Midlands. Although I was only spending the night en route from the Suffolk coast to the Shropshire Hills, I can imagine Alne Park would make a perfect base for exploring this attractive, unspoilt part of Warwickshire; Stratford-upon-Avon is close by, and I understand that for a longer commute Birmingham International Airport (BHX) is just twenty minutes drive away. Hard to fault anything. An ideal addition to what's on offer would be the opportunity to dine-in in the evening. Although the nearby historic town of Alcester provides a good range of options for eating out, the 'barn conversion' breakfast and sitting room would make a perfect setting for a warm homecooked country dinner, as well as a spacious, comfortable and stylish place to relax.

If you are visiting Stratford Upon Avon or anywhere south of Birmingham then Alne Park is the place of choice to stay. It's just a 15 minute drive from Stratford away yet set in 66 acres of private land. (5 minutes from beautiful Henly in Arden) High standard accommodation for a couple/s or a family. If you love horses then you will not find a better place to stay as Robin (Your host) trains racehorses and is incredibly knowledgeable!

Wonderful lush ancient countrysides and villages provide the setting for Great Alne where one can stay (b&b) in comfortable surroundings on an excellently managed farm the main focus of which is the training of race horses. Kindly hosts and cared for animals are characteristic features of one’s stay. Excellent evening meals can be found at The King’s Head at Aston Cantlow where Shakespeare’s parents celebrated their wedding wedding breakfast.
