Stayed several times in the last few months whilst working at the hospital in Bury St Edmonds. Nice rural location offering plenty of walks/runs. Very nice food, generally friendly staff. The larger rooms/suites (rooms 4 and 14) are very spacious and comfortable and there’s a lovely historic feel to the building overall.

I enjoyed a couple of evening meals at The Greyhound, the food served was clearly made with local produce (Ham and sausages), it was freshly prepared and very tasty.
The village itself is a very pleasant English village with a few nice pubs, hopefully the small restaurants will be reopened soon (Covid 19 permitting!), it has a lovely gentle rolling road through the village, very little traffic so great for an evening or morning stroll.
