The staff was wonderful! As were the meals! The steak pie last night with peas and mashed potatoes was delicious! This mornings, the Eggs Benedict surpassed my expectations. The room we were able to book at the last minute was perfect and so comfortable. A short ride with the help of the staff to secure a taxi to Gatwick airport in the morning was so helpful! We highly recommend The Curious Pig in the Parlour!

The room was fantastic and the grounds were spectacular. We wish we had booked it for another night or two. Victoria was wonderful and made us feel so welcomed. Breakfast on the patio was excellent and such an awesome setting. Stay here if you can!

The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Check in was quick and friendly. The food in the Restaurant was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly without going over the top. Ideal place to stay for Gatwick Airport. I can throughly recommend staying here.

Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone the hotel to inform them that the one light bulb in the bathroom did not work, the tap in the bathroom did not work properly and the basin did not drain properly BUT they did nothing about it. The furniture was also visibly dirty.

If you want to eat somewhere else The Star Inn a 2 minute drive away is worth visiting. We were booked into the Restaurant next door at Lingfield racing. It is not cheap but if you want to add to your visit a day at the races plus a meal is worth it.DawnDawn61United Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0
Loved the location of our room however a bit tired.
Loved the location of our room however a bit tired. Some light bulbs weren’t working and as there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom we couldn’t dry our towels so had no alternative but to have fresh ones each day. Not enough seats in the restaurant so Sunday morning we left without breakfast as the queue for a table was too long. This really does have to be sorted.

Room was spacious and fresh towels. They do provide shower gel but I did take my own. There is a kettle for tea/coffee too. The pub downstairs is fab the staff are so friendly, it's very pretty and country vibes, feels homely. They have a park there too for children and nice outdoor seating area with blankets I noticed. There was little sound from the course even though there were many players. Reception was very helpful, efficient and friendly. The on site restaurant had good evening meals. The room was a reasonable size and there was a refrigerator! Many UK hotels I have stayed in do not have refrigerators.
