Beautiful location, lovely countryside, very peaceful and quiet. Accommodation lovely, with views over the fields, spacious and comfortable room with lots of storage space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent restaurant and bar. Breakfast was very good - we just went simple though. The owners, Izzy and Peter were super friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and would have enjoyed staying longer if our schedule worked. It is in an older building but recently reworked.
Booking.com made a mixup on the credit card. I gave them the card and it seemed accepted. The host was not paid and asked about it and I found a note on my confirmation that the location did not accept credit cards which was not true. Izzy handled this very well - friendly question before our departure and all resolved, they took ours. I blame Booking.com

The couple who owned Town Mills were wonderful! Allison & Charles were very helpful with ideas on touring Exmoor and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend Town Mills and we loved the town of Dulverton.

Beautiful location in a river valley, accessible by narrow lane, but really tranquil, no passing traffic
Lovely old inn with lots of character, but comfortable and spacious. Good for walkers and dog owners. We walked along the river to Withypool, 8 miles there and back. We ate at the hotel, breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea. There was also plenty of refreshments in the rooms and excellent WiFi connection. Hilary and her staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liscombe is quite a small remote place inside Exmoor National Park so a car is required to get about - lovely villages nearby. Loads of places to walk with the dog but at this time of year (Feb) you need to wrap up warm.
