We had a mixed bank holiday stay and therefore this is a bit of a mixed review. I am going to start with the good parts. The hotel is right on the seafront and very close to the town centre, so everything is on your doorstep. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room itself is nicely decorated and clean, even though the outside of the hotel looks like it has seen better days. The bed is comfortable and the shower strong enough. The buffet breakfast tasted good and even though it was very busy we didn't have to wait for anything. The kids entertainment was good and the hotel has a small swimming pool that is open until 10pm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel. We went for the Lytham Festival and the hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and a 5 min drive from the festival. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a large wardrobe and plenty of hangers. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee. There were toiletries in the bathroom soap shampoo and shower gel. A slight improvement would be to add a small shelf in the shower as there isn't anywhere to put the shampoo whilst washing your hair which proved quite difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, fresh fruit juice and a full English all included in the price. I would definitely stay again.
