Crannich Holiday Caravans, hotel in Pennyghael

Offering garden views, Crannich Holiday Caravans in Killichronan offers accommodations and a garden. There's a private entrance at the resort village for the convenience of those who stay.

There's holiday caravans and then there's owners with passion. A three caravan site on a farm with owners that really have gone the extra mile. OK, the weather was terrible, but the location and the views were superb. Loads of wildlife, somewhere that I could stay for a week and just enjoy the location and setting. Great to see passion in their business. Thanks to Sam for being such a great host!

    A great place to stay.

A great place to stay. Very comfortable, private, warm and cosy. Mull is awesome so I’d recommend a visit. My only negative was that I assumed they had internet but they didn’t. So we couldn’t check to see what was open on the island. We couldn’t book anything remotely and it works have been nice to read about the island while we were there but with no internet that wasn’t an option.

The hotel seemed well appointed and with a good level of accommodation. The views from the room were splendid as were the hosts who made us feel very welcome. The food was cooked to perfection, even if there wasn't a large choice.

The hotel was a super base for exploring Mull.

The hotel was a super base for exploring Mull. It is halfway from the ferry to the western tip to visit Iona, but you can also explore the northern part and visit Tobermory. There is so much to see if you like wild life and bird life and the hotel owners and staff are very informative as to the best places to go to see the different birds. We ate in the hotel each night and the menus, although limited, was presented well and freshly cooked to order. there are only 3 main roads on Mull so it is easy to access them all from Pennygael so you can explore the whole of Mull from the hotel.
