Great value for money, very comfortable, clean, spacious, and welcoming. The staff were very nice, Matthew helped with a key card issue and we had nice conversation! Would definitely stay here again.
Consisted of of three Georgian town houses dating back to 1799, this charming, individual hotel in Ramsgate's historic garden crescent has amazing harbor and sea views. Two of the houses are...

The staff I saw were very friendly and welcoming. The room was expectedly small, but very comfortable. You can't beat the view, even if I didn't have it from my room, and the location as well.

We had a lovely stay in the house.
Very clean and cosy with comfortable beds.
The owners are very nice people and left us a bottle of fizz and milk.
Rained off on the Sunday and managed to cook a nice roast there .
Lit the fire, watched a movie pure bliss.
Would without doubt stay again.

Very attractive historic town, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Attractive harbour. Good location for exploring East Kent (Isle of Thanet in particular).
We visited local English Heritage sites (Richborough, Deal, Walmer) and did a tour of the Ramsgate Tunnels (all worthwhile).
The Weatherspoons (biggest in UK) was an experience!

Ramsgate is a mixed bag.
Ramsgate is a mixed bag. Sea front, marina and harbour are lovely, with some fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. The town is quite rundown. OK, but not the best.. the new seafront build, I'm hoping, will help the rest come up market a bit more.
But I love this place!

Pretty harbour area and bracing clifftop walks!
Pretty harbour area and bracing clifftop walks! Great food at La Magnolia (evening meal) and Archive (breakfast), both by the harbour. If you are in to sewing, the Haberdashery is the most amazing place and not to be missed! Cheap fabrics and amazing supply of haberdashery - esp buttons galore!
Lovely old square near the seafront and places to eat and drink. The chap who manages our booking and arrival was very polite and after checking that the twin room we had booked had indeed been replaced by a double room - offered a discount as compensation. Mistakes are normal being able to respond is rare. So all good. We were cycling the Cantii way and they very kindly offered to store our bikes in the office overnight. Really important!
The hotel is very cozy and beautifully arranged inside, located right in the centre of Ramsgate, with fantastic views over the harbour. The lady at the reception has greeted me very warmly and gave me an excellent advice to visit Ramsgate Music Hall that evening - the venue won the 'smallest music venue in the UK' award and is hosting fantastic music bands! So I'm very grateful to that lady :)
Lovely, spacious apartment at the top floor with a view over the port. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was fantastic. Great selection of coffee, hot chocolate, (Easter) sweets, and even filtered water. Lots of quirky details and nice decorations. Great area in Ramsgate for dining out, and a beach nearby.
Excellent location by the harbour in Ramsgate. I have stayed in a number of properties where the owner provides the minimum possible in terms of facilities and the quality of fittings etc. This property is an exception, it was well equipped (two fridges, quality cutlery/crockery, lots of bath towels etc.)
Lovely room with excellent views over the harbour as booked a room with a sea view . Staff all very helpful and pleasant . Easy access to the town Ramsgate location excellent for coastal walks to Broadstairs and beyond . Great Italian restaurant and others in arches below the hotel.
The hotel is in a quiet location, with unspoilt views from the hotel restaurant and pub. Food is good and reasonably priced, and their Sunday lunch was really good.
Staff are friendly and attentive.
Nice walk into main town Ramsgate, with 95% of it along the seafront.
- Excellent location in central Ramsgate, with very good access to the harbor and waterfront.
- Train station is a 15 minute walk.
- A couple grocery stores within 10 minute walk.
- Clothes washer in kitchen!
- Reasonably good appliances and kitchen utensils.
I walked in struggling with a bad back, and the hotel manager noticed it and immediately offered a free upgrade to a bigger room with a bigger, comfier bed! Breakfast served in wonderful surroundings, with terrace hanging over the beach. Tasty as well!
What a fabulous, historic hotel. The staff is amazing and the food superb. The staff was like family, we hated to leave. I would encourage anyone who is interested in the area to consider this fine establishment. It was like staying in a private club.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great location just along the cliffs in Ramsgate with plenty of free parking. The room was clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed. The bar and restaurant were a joy to visit, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere.
Bright and clean and good size accommodation. Both rooms were comfortable and the lounge and kitchen area were well designed. Good location near the sea and walking distance to Ramsgate and Broadstairs along the coast.
Good location in the heart of Ramsgate. Close to the port and other beaches were within walking distance. Half the price of other hotels in the area at the time. Friendly neighbours who tried to help contact host.
I liked the quiet area, the same for the hotel. Nice and comfortable hotel, with good amenities. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Easy to get to for me, travelling wise. Gary was a good host, secure as well.
A beautiful boutique hotel, lovingly renovated, with a relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed our weekend stay, with nice dinner in the restaurant, comfy bed, gorgeous cocktails and friendly and attentive staff.
