What a beautiful little Inn along the NC500 with a great history! We stayed in the Deluxe King room with a balcony that had a lovely view. The bed was comfortable, and the shower glorious, with plenty of hot water and great pressure. Dinner was AMAZING with delicious local seafood. The breakfast that came with our stay was equally wonderful. We appreciated the honor bar was filled with non-alcoholic items as well.
Located in Unapool, Newton Lodge has a garden. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking. The nearest airport is Stornoway Airport, 86 miles from the hotel.

Wonderful pastoral view & quiet isolation at this site - the pod was small as expected but also well equipped and very clean, Wayne was most helpful in getting us settled in, & allowed us to refreeze ice bags in his garage freezer. And my wife saw her first Highland Coos in a field nearby!

We stayed in the house for one night and really enjoyed it. The property is small but conveniently set out, it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Sauna was a great bonus. The host very helpful and responsive.

Excellent roomy accommodation, I was worried it might be a little chilly but it was very cosy. Wonderful kitchen/dining area and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The Rhiconich is an ideal stopover for the NC500. Early reviews mention looks but it has had a recent refurb. Although set back from the main road we couldn't hear traffic. The welcome we received was very friendly. The room was spotless and breakfast was huge and tasty. The log burner was kept going all evening which was nice to sit by in the cosy lounge with a drink from the bar. As it is quite away out of any town, it was good to get evening meals. These and the bar are not overpriced as you would expect. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We would recommend staying there.
