The Yewdale Inn and Hotel Coniston Village, hotel in Seathwaite

The Yewdale Inn and Hotel Coniston Village is a located in the center of Coniston, within the Lake District National Park.

Perfect location in the centre of town a short distance from the water and hiking spots. Really good value, included breakfast was high quality and the staff were really nice and helpful. Beautiful views from the window. In the evening the pub is very cosy, good food, open fire and range of drinks. I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend break.

There wasnt really anything in Seathwaite itself, we drove to the bigger villages and towns so we could have a wander round the shops, plenty different areas to visit, lots of shops allow dogs in which was great for us. We did buy fresh chicken eggs from a couple different farms we passed and they were lovely. The lakes are stunning, everywhere you go people are so friendly, would deffo return.
