Me and my group of friends stayed at the Coire Glas Guest House for one night and when we arrived we were greeted by our host. He was very friendly and informative . The second day we woke up to the best view of the mountains there is and to an excellent breakfast.
The hosts were amazing, we felt at home and we wished we would have stayed longer. We will go back again!

Perfect place to stay. Our favorite stay from our hotel trip. The grounds were stunning, all the staff were so friendly towards us and our two young kids, and our rooms were so comfy and quaint. Wish we would have stayed here much longer.

The owners, Dani and Cameron were so kind and welcoming and full of great information of things to do in their area and restaurants to go to. Appreciated the heads up regarding reserving restaurants in advance for dinner. The breakfasts were superb, one morning was the pancakes with berries, and the next morning was a Scottish breakfast. Nice to have a living room to relax in in the evening and meet and chat with the other guests. We loved our time there, and would definitely return.

Spean Bridge is a pretty little place with some stunning walks and scenery. The shop has everything you need for your stay and there is also a Post office. There wasn't a huge selection of places to eat or drink and some were closed when we were there but it was probably just the time of year and we ventured into Fort William which has plenty of choice to eat and drink.

Beautiful Small Village tucked away from the Hussle and bustle. Quite and Peaceful area. Mai Bus root to Fort William and surrounding area's.
Locals are so helpful and supportive, specially, i was waiting for a bus to turn up for a while when a beautiful lady turned up and asked me if i was okay as she had noticed me being waiting at bus stop quite a while.

It's a good place to explore the area.
It's a good place to explore the area. Spean Bridge itself is tiny, but has one excellent restaurant at the Old Station. There are some other places but they are only open until 4 or 5, so I did not visit those. For additional options, you'd have to take a 15-minute drive to the next town over (Fort William).
My hotel - Highland Bridge Hotel - has a pub attached that was frequented every night by the locals. So there is a place to hang out if you must.
Overall a good location to explore the Scottish countryside. Considering everywhere you have to go will take you an hour, it isn't so bad you're basically 15 minutes out of town.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation.
We felt safe and secure in our accommodation. Felt intimidated by locals who got angry with us for not breaking the speed restrictions and we were not alone that felt this! Not much to do in the actual village itself but is a good base to venture out, the b and b we stayed in though was a pleasure to come home to - Braelea, run by Margaret. A fabulous lady with knowledge for days out. We are in restaurants recommended by Margaret.

Rosebank is owned by wonderful lady by the name of Teresa, who reminds you of your favourite aunt whom you rarely see but welcomes you with open arms. She made us feel like we'd been there before, set a lovely table with lots of breakfast options, keeps an immaculate house with very comfortable accommodations and genuinely made us feel like we were home. I would HIGHLY recommend Rosebank to anyone staying near Ft. William or Spean Bridge. I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be booking with here for our next trip

The main reason we visited Spean Bridge was to climb Ben Nevis. There were plenty of other activities around, I would recommend West Highland Outdoor Centre for a Segway tour. Highland Soap Company is worth a visit, they do great coffee too.
This is an absolutely stunning accommodation in a great location with fabulous views of Ben Nevis and Aonach Mòr. A great base for exploring Fort William and the surrounding area. The room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. Great facilities in the room with a lovely surprise in the mini fridge…chocolate bars. Lynn had even left some home baking in the lounge area for supper. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choices.
Distant Hills is a lovely property, in a good location, with excellent hosts.
Not too far from Fort William, the B&B could be a great base for local walks (which they also do) or drives to the stunning local lochs or hills. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, we could have sat chatting with them for hours. The place was spotless and breakfast very good. We also took advantage of the hot tub & bar. Our only disappointment was not staying for longer.
Smiddy House deserves more than 2 AA Stars. Exceptional place to stay. Extremely clean and very thoughtful of any amenity a traveler might need. The food at Russels Restaurant deserves a Michelin Rating and is priced fairly moderately. The hosts are the best by far! Robert makes you feel like an old friend just came for a visit. Smiddy House isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience.
I loved everything and didn't want to leave!
Dani and Cam are the nicest people we met in Scotland. The location is key to go to many places around, the facilities are amazing, the decor feels like home.
The room is beautiful and smells great.
The love and care they have for their guests is really well noticed and i cannot wait to come back already.
Ah! Cam's pancakes are a must try 😋
Beautiful views, a great garden that is secure for dogs. A well equipped lovely bijou cabin. Very friendly and helpful landlady who gave us lovely welcome pack. Good location for amenities in Spean Bridge and not far from the commando memorial that has a lovely walk through the woods to Spean Bridge. Distance to Fort William is reasonable.
We were hiking the GGW and arrived cold and soaked through. Our room was clean, warm and cozy, shower was hot. There were 5 of us and they found a room that would accommodate all of us which was great. Dinner at the hotel was really good. We slept great and we’re very happy with the accomodations.
Enjoyed hearing all the information on the Kings and Queens of England and Scotland. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was pleasant. The location was very convenient to Spean Bridge and Fort William. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have tea and cookies provided.
A beautiful location and a lovely hotel. Staff were helpful
and able to help us to and from the hotel to our starting point (we were long distance walking). It’s not a huge hotel which is great as even the restaurant and bar has a peaceful vibe to it. Very much looking forward to returning.
The location was stunning, loved the approach on the road with views across to Ben Nevis road. Near to Fort William, Glencoe. Nice restaurants nearby, The Old Station and Whispering Pines were lovely. There was enough space for two couples comfortably. Very, very clean.
Extremely well maintained and clean . Everything was available at the property and tiny details were looked at . Inside is very modern and well decorated . Very convenient for Ben Nevis and Fort William . Helpful , friendly owners . Good parking facilities.
Wonderful stay - they were very welcoming and took great care of us. Even helped us get to the restaurant and back which was a great help and meant we could relax after a day on the bike. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend it and we will be back!
Lovely & handy guesthouse to discover many beautiful places in the Central Western Highlands, like the Great Glen, Glen Coe, Glen Nevis, Fort Williams, Glenfinnan, etc. The owners are particularly welcoming and service-minded. We simply loved the place!
The location was lovely and quiet, Simon and Morven were excellent hosts, so welcoming, the room was spotless and the recommendation for the Station Restaurant was great, breakfast was as good as it gets, a wonderful stay.
Clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. The view out of the window is fantastic. Conveniently located with 15~20 min drive distance from Fort William.
Ideal for a short break between Fort William and Fort Augustus.
Facilities were very good.
The views stunning.
It is fairly new with 3 cabins. The privacy is good.
