Owners were very friendly and made you feel extremely welcome. The POD was spotless and soft furnishings are fab.
Lovely touch with the shortbread, robes and slippers etc. Hot tub very clean and was warm and ready for us on our arrival. Great stay. Cannot wait to go again.

What can we say... A beautiful place to stay . The priory is obviously loved as Chris and Sarah have brought this home to life with an eclectic mix of old and new. Total luxury in the rooms with plenty of tea and coffee a fridge for guest use and a fabulous breakfast, being gluten free can make things a bit tricky but they made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and I even had delicious lemon gf biccys in the room. And Gf sausage and bread at breakfast. Sarah and Chris are really helpful and on hand to chat or ask directions or for local info and indeed info on the house, but also step back enough to give you privacy and quiet. The rooms are stunning and so comfy with delightful en suite bathroom with a view . Middleham itself is a lovely small little village, Leyburn being slightly busier and a really enjoyable morning walk round, with Ripping not too far away either. We will look forward to visiting again . Thank you Sarah and Chris for a really relaxing and luxurious weekend
