HomeForYou - Holiday Home in the Wolds, hotel in Spilsby

A recently renovated apartment, HomeForYou - Holiday Home in the Wolds offers accommodations in Spilsby. This apartment provides free private parking, luggage storage space, and free Wifi.

For me a perfect location to stay as not far from most places I wanted to visit (most places are around 45 minutes or less to get to as its fairly centrally located in lincs and plenty of places of interest to visit) , the annexe was lovely everything you needed was there , lovely comfy bed too (its probably one of the comfiest beds I've slept in) good size rooms , its in a quiet peaceful location in a sleepy and quiet village so no hussell and bussell of most places , Martin and Jules are perfect hosts and would definitely recommend a stay in their annexe if you are visiting Lincolnshire for me a rating of 10 isn't enough (but that's just my opinion as was the perfect stay)

The Chestnuts Holiday Cottages, hotel in Spilsby

The Chestnuts Holiday Cottages offers accommodations in Burgh le Marsh, 5.5 miles from Skegness Butlins and 5.4 miles from Skegness Pier.

The cottage was lovely and there is lots to do in the area. Easy parking right outside the rear window. Garden furniture was great to sit outside. Free range eggs available on site for breakfast and plenty of space to walk the dog. The fishing lake was 1 minute walk from the front door and well stocked. The outside store for tackle was a very handy bonus. The town centre was nearby with good pub and takeaways for when the cook wanted a night off!! Petrol station just down the road.

We stayed in Partney, close to Spilsby.

We stayed in Partney, close to Spilsby. It was an excellent location for visiting the Wolds, the coast, a National Trust property, and many other places of interest. The village itself has no entertainment but is pretty and a good place for local walks. We ate at the Blacksmith's Arms in Skendleby and at our accommodation. by special request. We would avoid the North Sea Lookout at Chapel Point St. Lawrence. It was extremely busy, hard to park and the organisation for getting food or a drink was chaotic.

Spilsby is an attractive and interesting settlement with great history, dating back to before the arrival of the Vikings. It has wonderful views and is part of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has notable buildings, such as the theatre, and is the birthplace of an antarctic explorer. Spilsby has character and also a large Sainsbury's.

We got there after 7pm and didn’t have the chance to see much but from what we saw- We loved it! We had a nice walk before bedtime. The place was quiet and very clean. We walked from The Dragon to the Church and circled around there, for a half an hour. Would have loved to go to the antique shops as there were quite a few (and saw some nice things in the window). People were calm and smiling, very helpful when asked for directions. A magical sunset at the end of a day of walking and visiting surrounding areas. We spent our day in the wonderful, busy Skegness having fun, walking, rushing from one touristic point to another and wrapping our day up, winding down with a pizza (ordered to take away from a place in the town centre),a calming walk in a place like Spilby and a restful night sleep at The Dragon was all we wanted! We’re thinking of going again when the Theater will re-open. Majestic building that is! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The coast is just half an hour's drive away, and the same time can get you to several places of interest. Quiet little place, no postcards.

Quiet little place, no postcards. Points of interest: Birthplace of Franklin, the seafarer. There’s a remarkable building called Spilsby Theatre supported by a conservation campaign. We liked the Second-Hand shops. Lots of breakfast venue’s though good coffee was trickier to find!
