The room was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. The location is very quiet and right next to the racecourse whilst the bus station is very close as well. I have not had a problem with the shared bathroom as there were three separated cabinets with a shower and two cabinets with toilets for females and they were cleaned by staff regularly.
The Parsonage Hotel & Spa is a Four Star Hotel set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland and offers free WiFi and free parking. York's city center is only 15 minutes' drive away.

Good breakfast. Really friendly and helpful staff who gave us lots of tips that helped us with our visit. We could walk into town. Bed was comfy and kids loved the bunk bed!
A quiet place within 20 minutes of York. If you enjoy peace & quiet and are happy to drive to where you need to go - taxis are expensive with the out of town charge - then this is definitely a place worth considering.
