Over the years I have stayed in over a dozen hotels and guesthouses in Akhaltsikhe (including Hotel Like several times)......Considering the room rate, location, room view, the facility and room amenities and the owner hospitality, the Hotel Like is clearly the best.....There may not be someone at reception to check you in upon arrival. But call one of the phone numbers on the entrance door (Sabo speaks English) and somebody will be there shortly to check you in.

The host couple is very friendly and warm. When we checked in, they welcomed us kindly with hot coffee and light refreshments. We wanted to go to Vardzia so we asked them how to get there. They introduced us to a taxi guide operated by a friend of theirs and we used this. This guide truly exceeded my expectations! Maxo, our taxi guide, took us not only to vardzia but also to many amazing places that we would not have been able to go to if we had not taken a taxi. He was friendly and explained the relevant information about each place to us. The guide's price was totally reasonable and we were really satisfied with it. If you are planning to go to vardzia, I highly recommend this guide to you. The accommodation was clean and the location was great too. It was perfect for us. I highly recommend this accommodation.
