Our group of 5 couples intended to visit the Museum of Macedonian Kings in Vergina, so we looked for a stay as near as possible. The guide who should accompany us recommended staying in Veria because almost no hotel exist in Vergina. But we chose this hotel, and it was great luck. The date of museum visit was during school vacation with tens of teen tours. The guide suggested to start our tour at 8:00. Very wise; we walked from the hotel to the museum in 10 minutes and were there alone. How could we do this staying in Veria?!
The hotel location was not the only luck. The hotel looks like fabulous villa - all absolutely new. White artificial marble floor, lacquered brownish furniture, toilets accessories. Spacy, beautiful, excellent!!! Two hostesses, mother and daughter, do their upmost you to feel welcomed. Only fun situation happened at morning because we couldn’t tap a hot water. The previous night hostess forgot to point us where the room heater tap is. If you stay check this beforehand.
In any case it was superb stay.
