This was a fabulous country house about 15 mins from Athens Intl airport in the fields of pistacho and olive trees, and a small church. A very special spot. We spent 7 hrs sitting in the courtyard enjoying the views and later, with some new friends over dinner. The taxi had our name up to meet us at airport arrivals and also took us back the next day. Super visit and very convenient.
GK Airport Suites offers air-conditioned rooms in Markopoulo. There's a private entrance at the condo hotel for the convenience of those who stay.

You can't beat the value, as the rooms are extremely spacious and the rates include roundtrip airport shuttle transfers. The prices are some of the lowest in the area - a fraction of the airport-connected Sofitel. The room was the size of an apartment, with a sofa, coffee table, desk/chair, double bed, and single bed. It even had a small balcony. There was a kitchenette with a sink, kettle, and refrigerator, which could come in handy for longer stays.
The arrival experience was entirely through booking.com messaging (or SMS/WhatsApp), and you got instructions on how to access the lockbox. Screenshot or print the information in advance, as data was spotty outside the building.
Overall, for an overnight stay, it's adequate. I don't know if I'd recommend it for very short overnights (less than 8 hours between flights), as you have very limited time in the room. For an afternoon/early evening arrival and a morning departure, it would be completely fine.
