I stayed here for one night. I really appreciated being able to check-in to my room early and to be upgraded to a suite. My room was spacious and clean but it was not entirely comfortable - more on this below. Apart from the restaurant staff, the other hotel staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed being able to easily walk to the exceptionally lovely Mylopotas Beach (it's easily accessible from the hotel) and lounge on one of the sunbeds, which was free for hotel guests. The breakfast was fine. Overall, the impression I was left with was that this definitely isn't a 4-star hotel and I wouldn't stay here again.

Spacious and modern room with a sea view, everything has been renovated recently. Huge shower and double sink bathroom. Owner was very nice and available, she was able to get us a last minute reservation to the very good restaurant next door. Nice pool area where you can buy beer or water. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Bus stop is close to the hotel.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the room and view was an absolute dream. All of the staff were extremely kind and having breakfast delivered to your room is amazing!
This is a new hotel so there are some small missing things that could be added like hooks out an outside folding clothes hangar since the Suites have pools and there wasn’t really a spot to hang bathing suits to dry other than the chairs.
Set against the mountains, with views over the Aegean Sea, the Cycladic-style Far Out Hotel & Spa and Luxury Villas offer a rooftop pool with wooden sundeck. It features a cocktail bar.

Mylopotias is full of partying young people and there is a nightclub just down the road from where we stayed so we could hear the thumping music. We didn't mind, but it did mean that from 10pm we wouldn't sit on the balcony.
Great beach, stylish restaurants esp. the sushi, not overcrowded. We kept different times vs the young crowd which meant that the beach was nearly empty in the morning and started to fill up at 2pm is. They were fun when they arrived.

The beach, mini market and restaurants were a long way from the apartments we were staying at. It was very touristy and geared up for the youth who want to party. Pay sun beds and umbrellas on the beach were expensive. Good selection of water sports in the ocean.

Great long beach with soft sand. Party scene at one end. Quiet and mellow with good restaurants at the other end. Buses run frequently between Mylopotas and the main town of Chora. Plenty of sun beds and places to rent water toys

Far Out Club is loud for a few hours at night but dies down before 10 ish in July. It is lovely in the daytime and one place rents cabanas with 1 side plexiglas very reasonably priced. Four of us shared one. More days at the beach would have been better - wish I had skipped Athens.

The room was very nice and the location excellent in front of the beach, just to cross the road. The host, Mrs Irini was very nice and helpful. Prepared our breakfast every day and also small meals whenever needed. We really loved the place and will visit it soon again. Highly recommended.
This charming hotel (though requiring some renovation) is located on the best beach of Ios, Mylopotas (if not the best beach of Kiklades!) Its location and its friendly and helpful staff really made our stay perfect: greatest thanks to our beach waiters from Almyra restaurant, Christos and Andreas who literally were reading our minds and kept our glasses always full with cold wine and plates with watermelon and feta cheese. Separate appreciation to Almyra's bartender Romanos whose cocktails with gin tonic are the best on the island.
Perfect location in the end of the bay. When the beat from the all day long bar opposite Mylopotas beach stops you can hear the sea! You have a nice view of the bay, you can enjoy sunset from your balcony. The breakfast has local products like the honey of Ios and each day there is a variety of home made stuff. The attention from the hosts makes you feel welcome and the smile of the owner lights your day.
The hotel is conveniently set on top of a very nice fish restaurant that you should try.
Loved everything about our stay at Hotel Aegeon. The family that run the hotel are so amazing & kind, they made myself and my partner feel very comfortable, even though she wasn't well when we arrived. They were very hospitable and willing to help with any questions we had, staying here was our favourite part of our Greece holiday. Pick up from port, nice pool with a bar, across from the beach, 5 minute bus from town (runs every 15-20 minutes). Was the perfect spot!
We loved our room, it was spacious with a large terrace overlooking the beautiful Mylopotas Beach. The room is equipped with cooking supplies and even a moka pot, we only stayed for 2 days but you could stay here comfortably for weeks. The location was excellent and walking distance to restaurants and the beach, and it was easy to take the bus up to the old Chora. Lastly, be sure to enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning prepared by the lovely staff :)
Location is a decently graded stair descend down to myloplatos beach or you can catch the bus right outside the hotel. Same bus goes to the chora (town) or port, so easy to get around this portion of the island. Pool is decently sized and deep and looks on to the beach so stunning views. There was a ferry strike that was was possibly causing us to leave early or late, the staff was very accommodating with either option.
This place is absolutely gorgeous and the room and view was an absolute dream. All of the staff were extremely kind and having breakfast delivered to your room is amazing!

excellent location, right on the Mylopotas beach. grera value for money. very nice restaurants, pubs and shops right next to it. bus stop right in front of the hotel with frequent buses to the port. We saw buses to other destinations as well, although we didnt take them. Chora is just 10mins bus ride away
Best view of the island
Amazing service from the family that own the hotel
Food is also deeeeelicious: I recommend the avocado toast and the homemade granola - blew my mind
Super location, between mylopotas and Chora (main village), bus stops there if you ask
Placed on a beautiful beach with access to sun beds. Was great staying in the hotel, quite and the room was basic but had everything we needed. Bathroom was big, showed was great which was a nice change to the typical Greek one we’ve been using travelling.
The properties location was perfect! A 2 minute walk down to the beautiful Mylopotas beach and the bus stop which takes you into town (Chora) all day until midnight. The pool at the property was insanely nice and not busy and the room was good.
A perfectly located charming hotel, right on the beach. We loved the fact that it was more traditionally Greek than a lot of the surrounding establishments. We were close to the bus stop, local eateries and amenities, just a short walk away.
owners are very lovely and good people, thanks for everything💗 there are very clean rooms, nice pool and best location, near mylopotas beach, i think this beach is the best in ios💗 its better than manganari beach💗 so highly recomended✨
Great location right on Mylopotas beach. Beautiful property. Breakfast was great little buffet with a good selection of hot and cold items. Pool area was also great with a bar and good service. Would return!
Beautiful view from room balconies, friendly owners, great breakfast on balcony with homemade jams (pumpkin jam is delicious!), hotel is conveniently located for beach and hiking, frequent bus to port/town
We loved this hotel! They did everything to make us feel welcome and to make our stay enjoyable. Great location, extremely clean, good breakfast, being picked up at the port and a lovely family. 10/10!
Tremendous value. Amazing view of Mylopotas Beach. Great bed. Hearty a la carte breakfast. Vicky and George went out of their way to accommodate and orient us to IOS!
Great room with an epic view. Hotel facilities were great and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Awesome location walking distance from Mylopotas beach
