The Gardens Gallery Hotel is a first class run boutique hotel where management and staff is committed to detail. You feel this the moment you enter the lobby. Very close access to the beach and at the base of the pine forest. Also short walking to the town center, restaurants and shopping... it is an excellent location. The professional and friendly staff prepares a wonderful breakfast, offering a variety of choices for their guests. Having your breakfast and coffee, especially at the outdoor patio located at the base of the pine forest, is a wonderful way to start your day. Quality service to their guest, cleanliness and a modern facility is what makes the Gardens Gallery Hotel a must stay when you visit Xylokastro. My family had a very enjoyable stay and will be back on future visits.

The property is in front of the Pefkias forest so you have easy access for a morning walk, enjoy a coffee or go swimming to the beach. Our room had sea view and it was wonderful.

It’s a small seaside town that might be more of a summer destination as in winter it was a little dull, many shops closed. The town itself is not a destination I would recommend, but if you have a car it is very easy to explore the surrounding area and there you’ll find plenty of spectacular views and places you didn’t want to miss!

Xylokastro is a lovely town with nice beaches and a lot of nice restaurants and shops. You can enjoy a swim during the day at the main beach near the marina or at Pefkias in front of the forest and at night you can stroll along the beachfront and sit down at nice restaurants, ice cream shops and bars. It isn't too noisy and the whole place has a nice feel about it.

We will not return as really nothing much to do.
We will not return as really nothing much to do. Beach areas are all rocky or stones. Some beach side facilities but not much choice. The town is a bit sad with no shops other than 4 or 5 chemists ? no real atmosphere or character. The sea is reasonable clear but lots of stray dogs around and lots of plastic and litter left on the beaches.

Xylokastron is the next town along from Sykia.
Xylokastron is the next town along from Sykia. It has a very good selection of restaurants - all of a good standard. A special mention must be made to Taste Modern - fantastic food at reasonable prices.
Xylokastron is approx 1 mile from Sykia ( where the apartment is located) and is a typical greek town. Fairly low in tourists and the tourists that are there are primarily Greek. It has a number of large Supermarkets for provisions.
The room was cleaned every morning, it was very cozy and pretty. The bed was super comfortable compared to any other hotel we have been to. The breakfast included pretty much everything, we couldn't even eat it all. And the location was amazing, 20 steps from the beach and very close to restaurants and cafes. But most importantly, the staff was super nice. Everyone was very kind and very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely choose this hotel again if we visit the same place.
We absolutely loved the house! Tall ceilings & gorgeous antique furniture beautifully combined with modern day comforts. The detail in the decor kept us mesmerized during our three night stay. The house is spacious, has an aristocratic feel to it, meticulously cleaned and only a short, easy walk to the super market, bakery and main plateia of Xylokastro. I stayed with my two daughters, (14 & 18) and my father. All of us were impressed. Great value for the money too.
The hotel is just across the street from the beach and overlooks the Gulf of Corinth. The view is simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the bartender brought drinks to us on the beach. The room was very nice and breakfast had many excellent options.
It’s located about 30 minutes from the ancient Corinth site and less than a 10 minute walk along the waters from the town square and several restaurants.
Few steps from beach, having lot of space and only few people (even in August!). free shower available on beach. Big enough parking also is there.
Of course you need car to drive around.
There was also coffee, tea and some bread and jam.
There is also washing machine (we haven't use it however)
Very friendly, family run hotel right by the sea and with good views. The restaurant served a decent dinner and very good breakfast. Our bedroom was at the front with a balcony. The room was not luxurious but had everything we needed, and the lighting for reading in bed was superb.
This boutique hotel is nicely situated on the waterfront, and my room had a great view of the water. I was glad to open the windows to hear the sound of the water. The little grill restaurant next door had delicious food and was handily situated.
I've stayed here before and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Everyone at this hotel is so friendly and kind and make you feel practically like family. It's super clean and comfy and only a few steps from a beautiful beach.
Amazing place to relax and enjoy your holidays!
The staff is very friendly and always ready to help.
More over the location of the hotel is perfect and also the food was excellent!
I enjoyed every single moment of my stay here!
We stayed at a family room which had two bedrooms and two baths that is a perfect asset. Especially for summer holiday I believe this hotel would be a perfect stop. Also the breakfast was good and the staff was very kind.
Clean, very good breakfast, you can either visit the forest or the port. All in all an excellent hotel. Very friendly staff and really helpful. Family-friendly with bicycle hiring that made our mornings!
We stayed for one night to have a break on the trip to Patra. The hotel is simple but very nicely and new furnished, super clean. Breakfast is rich and people super kind.
Definitely a great choice.
Very good choice! Clean and very nice hotel, in an excellent area! The most important aspect of the hotel are its owners! They are very nice and helpful! Would stay again for sure!
Tranquility, close to town of Xylokastro. Hostess is amazing and very pleasant! Treated us like family…what you see in the pictures is what you get! Recommended 100%
