Wonderful location overlooking lake Atitlan. Lovely room with a lake view and a fireplace (but since it was warm we didn't bother with it). Very kind and helpful staff. Great coffee. The village is peaceful and authentic, with few tourists. San Lucas Toliman is a short pleasant boat ride away and has a great local market on market days. Parking out front was safe and convenient.

The location of the hotel is unique that you have to take a boat to reach the hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The view from the hotel and room are great. We enjoyed our stay at this place.

We booked this hotel last minute and late at night. Booking confirmed our hotel, but I knew there was a chance that they might not have confirmed themselves. When we got there, because of the last minute booking their receptionist had already left. Regardless, the guy was super sweet and when we called upper management, they told him to accommodate us and that they would handle it in the morning. They were able to keep us in our room for the two nights that we were there. Very helpful.

This location is amazing. I really enjoyed staring at the view, and I really loved the onsite coffee shop. Also the bakery cart right at the hotel was lovely. Was easy to book a shuttle to Guatamala city straight from the office. Boat lauch to head to other locations around the lake are walking distance from the hotel.

Our visit was marred by the impending Corona Virus pandemic and we had to cut short our visit to leave the country. We chose this locales to get away from the busy crowd and streets, and that we found - maybe more than we were anticipating. Were so grateful for the hospitality, the support, the meals, the hotel ambiance, the views. But for a short visit for tourists, may want to choose a different town as this was isolated and with no public dock or places to really stroll and explore. Great for someone who wants to relax and not do much!!!
