The apartment was beautiful and had a great vibe. Patio was lovely. The best part was our host. It felt like "cool Mom" lived upstairs. She brought us carrot cake and did my laundry!

A small village with everything you need. We went to beaches all over the island. The advantage of Sali is the nearby national park Telascica. There was also an exceptional restaurant in Sali called Garoful. I highly recommend a visit.

Sali is probably the best base to use on the island.
Sali is probably the best base to use on the island. It has a ferry to Zadar three times a day, loads (maybe 5 or 6) restaurants, a sizable supermarket and quite a few cafe's and taverns. It also has a helpful tourist office where you can rent cars or scooters, although these are not cheap. The only petrol station on the island is in the next village about 4kms away. Talascia NP is a 5 minute drive away from the town and well worth a day trip. All the beaches are shingle and aren't really beaches, just little coves. The very best is half way up the island and directly across on the opposite side of the island to Brbinj. Very difficult to find without google maps set to satellite mode which shows the actual concrete access road. A one hour drive will take you the full length of the island.WilliamIreland - 10Scored 10
Very nice, cozy place.
Very nice, cozy place. We ate dinner couple of times in Cookhouse & Bar GAROFUL. It is nice place to have a meal with beautiful sea view. From Sali it is very easy to get to other part of the Long island, and to organize nice boat trip to Kornati national park and Telascica nature park. All in all, I was quite impressed with Sali and Long island in general with all that beauty and big blue I saw around. It is worth of visiting at least once in your life time. Strongly recommended! :-)

We loved Sali!
We loved Sali! It is a quaint little town that has everything you need! The beach was one of the best ones on the island, rocky, with lots of trees that provide shade throughout the day and numerous little inlets that offer privacy from other beach visitors. Great for snorkeling and swimming. Sali also has a supermarket and several restaurants, a wonderful gelateria to have ice cream, and almost no traffic. It is the perfect place to relax, have long walks, swim or eat out. I highly recommend it.

Picturesque small harbour.
Picturesque small harbour. Good "Tommy" supermarket at the ferry jetty. Open 7:00 - 21:00. And 2 bakery shops plus some restaurants. Apart from summer you are locked up in the place, because there is no bus to the rest of this (long) island and renting a scooter costs you 48 € for one day low-season! Wifi hotspot around post office/library.

We spent a lot of time at the beach. The beach is just beautiful, although some people might have trouble entering the sea. There is a great beach bar nearby. We had dinner at Trapula and Marinov Magazin. Trapula was a little below our expectation when it comes to interior design but the food was great. Marinov Magazin blew us off. The view is amazing and the food is even better! I'm definitely coming back here!RozelinaCroatia

For two people we got a huge terrace, another small terrace in the garden, barbecue and a dinning table in the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, air-conditioning, sound system, tv, and really everything you would need to relax and have a great time. Also host Mauro was really at our disposal about anything we needed or asked and I can really recommend this as the best apartment in Sali for two people.

Just a 5-minute walk away you'll find the beach, the grocery store, restaurants, the Sali harbor, and a helpful tourist center. The room is impeccably clean, air-conditioned, comfortable, and had many amenities like a clothes drying rack, refrigerator, basic cutlery, access to a very cute balcony, etc. For a trip to Sali without a car, it made our trip worry-free and completely enjoyable. Truly great value for the money.

Communication with Lidija went very smoothly and even though I didn't get to see her in person, she made sure that everything was in its place and that I could easily check in. The olive house is a super cute place to stay in, it's cozy and has a bathroom with great shower. I felt at home the moment I stepped inside. Perfect for solo travellers or couples.

It shares an alley with Konoba Trapula so it's sheltered from the afternoon sun and makes for a great DIY happy hour location. The restaurant is pretty low-key, so we had no issue with any noise at night. The host was super -- she & her husband even picked us up from the Zaglav ferry. Definitely recommend.

Arrived at the apartment late around 2230 hrs and the owner was outside of his apartment waiting for us. The apartment is very clean and new and has everything you need for a short/long stay. The apartment is quiet, the bed is comfortable and has parking. Just a short walk to the town of Sali. You can catch the sunrise on the balcony.
