Located just a 15-minute drive from Ketapang Harbor in Banyuwangi, Bangsring Breeze offers an amazing accommodations overlooking the West Bali Park and Menjangan Island.

The place it self is really nice, good position if you don't want to stay in the center. Our rooms (bungalows ocean view 1 and 2) were nice and comfortable, the swimming pool outside clean and the stuff very nice. We had nice coffee and nice breakfast, served in the room.

Comfortable place to stay. This business runs by a family that also living there . So it just like we are staying with the lokal. They grew some berries,corn, edamame,etc around the property and we get a chance to enjoy them. There is Warung bu Widi close by that serve delicious Indonesian foods if you need lunch and dinner. Definitely we will coming back there when we visit Banyuwangi.

    Great city to visit if you want to hike up Gunung Ijen for sunrise. It's an icnredible hike, not too difficult, with some of the best views we have seen in all our 8 months travelling Southeast Asia. Banyuwangi was a very clean and friendly city with lots of cheap restaurants and we felt very safe walking in the evening. Stay at Snooze Ijen if you visit here!

    Lovely wee spot surrounded by nature. Good food spots on the main route u to town and lots of rice paddies and tranquility out near Juda homestay. Very convenient place to stay if arriving in Banyuwangi by train

Ijen with one of 2 blue fires in the world, many beautiful nature both mountains, waterfall also ocean nature and savannah, cultures, traditional music/dances and typical food, etc.. etc.

    There are plenty of lovely places to visit in Java and...

    There are plenty of lovely places to visit in Java and Banyuwangi is not one of them. However if you drive 30 minutes into the mountains there was some lovely homestays with views of the padi fields and dense forest which I would recommend.

    Banyuwangi is one of the best place to be as it is not...

    Banyuwangi is one of the best place to be as it is not crowded like Bali or Jakarta or Bandung or even Surabaya. It is an underrated tourist destination which is more relaxing with much cheaper hotel rates and food. You can find Rumah Apung Bangsari, Bajulmati Reservoir, Baluran National Park, Savannah Bekol, Bama Beach, Kawah Ijen Sunrise, Blue Fire Crater, Jagir Waterfall, De Djawatan Forest, Mongrove Swamp, Mustika Beach, Pulau Meran Beach Sunset, Gandrung Dance and many more. There are plenty of hotels and home stays and a heaven for culinary. It is the place to be and not in Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. Look for something different. Come over to Banyuwangi.

    Banyuwangi just like a lite version of Bali and Java.

    Banyuwangi just like a lite version of Bali and Java. Lot of thing you can do in here, hike mountain, got relax in beach, local food (mostly my favorite is pisang goreng), etc. There was lot of helpful person who helped me reach to my destination.

    The host family is the warmest host ever, and they're so sweet, they even let me barging in for early check in. They always make sure I have my meal before going out, but at the same time really give me some space and privacy which is great. They have motorcycle to rent, and going around Banyuwangi is best done by motorcycle. The room is spacious, comfortable, and has a functioning fan. For some Indonesians who are accustomed to AC, the room is pretty chilly at night, with magnificent view from the balcony.

    The location is a bit hidden from Banyanwangyi city, many Grab drivers don't want to go there, and the road up there is small, so it's ok to give the driver a bit more money. But the whole place is really pretty, from the dinning room you can see many mountains the view of the hotel is perfect. Really suitable for a retreat or stay longer for relaxation. The room is spacious and comfortable, you also have a balcony with a great view. Overall very happy with the stay.

    It is not far from Ijen, ~30 min drive, so we got off from the hotel to the Ijen tour at 1:00am and we arrived early - as Ijen opens at 2am. Room is a bit small but quite comfy, the bath room is quite big though, and there is a nice big hottub. The environment overall in the hotel is very nice and you can get a traditional view; there is well designed garden view and small river. The restaurant is nice too, we got cheap and tasty food there

    This place shouldn't be called a homestay, its more of a hotel. Very nice facilities and rooms, the upstairs balcony is nice for chuffing a couple darts at any time of the day or night. Staff are good dudes and super friendly, although they don't have great English what can you expect in Banyuwangi. Easy enough to just use translation apps to get the info across. Good location close to the mosque so you get to hear the CTP.

    We love everything from this hotel. Plenty of light in the room, view from the balcony was great, and their food, not many options, but are delicious. I enjoyed most of my time on breakfast time, sipping coffee and seeing the landscape from the distance. I have no complaints. Services also excellent, we rent motorbikes during our stay and their staff treat us the same as other guests who maybe brought their car.

    The hosts Agus and Nitha are very welcoming, they speak English very well and we had good conversations. Room was also clean and comfortable. They manage a little restaurant as well in the same place with their family : very good Javanese food with affordable price. Last but not least the Homestay is literally in front of the “Banyuwangi kota” train station. We would come back again !

    Simple place, very clean, comfortable bed. We had a different breakfast every morning 😋 More than a homestay, it's also a travel agency! Fryda had arranged our trip to Sukamade before arrival, was incredible. She took us to a coffee plantation on scooter with 2y Arkan...     Obviously, the location „in the middle of the rainforest“ is the hotel’s main attraction, and it does indeed deliver on that. Despite that everything is being kept as clean as possible around the hotel area. Rooms were spacious with a nice view of the forest and the creek below. Very attentive and friendly staff.
